Great product for what it is.
This net screens out the smallest little bits like tiny bugs and even hair and flakes of skin. I know it sounds gross, but truly in a hot tub that happens and this net will catch ‘em.Like some others, I just let it dry, turn it inside out and shake it a bit and it’s clean. It works!

Too thick
This was only good to skim the pollen from the top. It really is not a leaf rake. Also when trying to rake leaf it blows up with air in between the fabric.

Still going strong after 6 years
Purchased this back in April 2016. Realized this afternoon that I should probably post a review after using it regularly for 6 years. It looks beat up but has worked extremely well over that time. As you can see from the photos, no rips or tears in the net or damage to the frame. Used regularly for maintaining an outdoor pool surrounded by trees in the PNW. Lots of floating debris, small particles, insects, evergreen needles, birch pollen, cottonwood fluff, etc. Frame is a bit scuffed because I usually drag the side of the net against the side of pool. These things are quite expensive at my local pool supply shop. They frame has held up well. I don't really look after it - net out the pollen and small debris on the pool surface, shake out what gets picked up. The only thing I do is to store it in a deck box out of the sun when it's not being used. Between the chlorine and the debris, you don't really want sun on any of your netting.Anyways, I'm picking up another one just so we can clear the pool surface more quickly. The net is right on the border or almost being too fine, but you just need to go slow and it does pick up all the particle debris. Hope this helps!

Works As Advertised
Way better than a small mesh screen. On occasion the local itty bitty ant population decides to invade my pool. The big "rafts" are easy to cull out, the individual swimmers not so much. Oh, and they're not all dead. This attachment solves that problem. Showed up with the metal band not fully inserted in the fairing - horsed most of it into place but still have a bit of an alignment problem. Other than that, it's great and would be a five star rating.

Works well.
It was smaller than expected but it does the job in collecting smaller particles on the surface of the water.

The best for little particles!!!
I’m always so skeptical about buying things I really don’t know that much about. I needed a finer mesh net because with mine, I couldn’t catch the little tiny pieces or the teeny tiny flies that get in and float up too and it was driving me crazy! I looked on here and I hesitantly tried this one, I love it! It’s so perfect and makes pool cleaning so simple now. This is our second year with a pool and I’ve learned that all you need is a net like this and a good little robot vacuum! This is awesome quality, I was pleasantly surprised! Don’t hesitate. You’ll love it!

Picks up every little bug and nat.
I used to have to use two nets. Regular and then tight mesh after. The tight mesh one is very hard to push threw the water. Now I have just one and done.Live in S Florida with pines, palms and cypress trees in my yard. I skim 2-3 times a day.Only one issue. When trying to scoop up leaves on the bottom, the plastic is getting ripped up. So I it most like will not last a year but I am loving this right now.Use something stronger that won’t get chewed up please because you have a very nice product

Super fine mesh does the trick.
I use this for hand skimming the pool. It gets things that are too small for a standard skimmer. The rubber lip keeps trying to come off. Quality is average but the fine mesh makes the product work for what I need.
