Good Value For Money - Non Stick Easy Clean
So far we have found this a great asset in the kitchen making breakfast waffles, toast and toasted sandwiches. Not had it long but works fine so far and have no problems using it. Easy to clean too! followed instructions to register the product for the guarantee with extra cover and received a polite email back confirming cover and how to contact. Nice product at a good price.

Great for waffles however...
Firstly, for all the people confused by the lights. They are not cooking timers. When you turn it on, the lights go on, when it's up to temperature, the lights go off, when it drops below temperature the lights go on. Wash, rinse, repeat. You still have to manually time your food. The lights are just indicating the plates being at their max temperature. I can't believe how many reviews I've read saying don't trust the lights to cook your food. Correct! That's not what they're there for!! Now my review. Great item. The panini plates are good. Bought some panini rolls, filled them with my favourite fillings and squashed into the machine, cooked for a few minutes and beautiful crispy panini flats. The waffle iron. My absolute favourite thing about this sandwich maker. I have now been making batter almost daily for breakfast waffles. Makes them so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Again don't use the lights to time! Waffles need at least 8 minutes to make them nice and crispy and be cooked perfectly on the inside. Perfect with fresh strawberries or blueberries or golden syrup - my personal favourite! Now the only reason. It's lost one star from me is the sandwich maker/toastie feature. It does its function well, however it doesn't toast/brown the bread very well at all, even with a small layer of butter or even a spray of one cal on the plates. Nothing I do seems to brown the bread. It gets a little crispy, but not as crunchy as I would like. My old toastie maker (from 1986 that still works!) Makes the crunchiest toasties ever. I bought the machine mainly for the waffle iron, but had to use all the features. Nice item, I hope it lasts as long as my 1986 toastie maker! Easy enough to clean, there's a button near each plate that pops the plates out so you can wash them. Easy to remove an replace - just wait until it cools down! Bonus if you've read this far! Waffle recipe 1 cup of Self Raising Flour 2 Tablespoons of Caster Sugar 1 Large Egg at room temperature 250ml of full fat milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix dry ingredients together, add egg, slowly whisk in milk, add vanilla extract, handwhisk until lump free. Will be thicker than pancake mix. Leave to rest for thirty minutes. After resting, heat up the waffle iron to temperature, quick stir of the mix, then add the mixture to the plates, but don't over fill. Close the lid, time 8 minutes, then enjoy. Perfect waffles! Thank me later.

Good product
It takes a while to heat up. I have only recently started to use it for paninis, and they do the job very well.

It's good buuuut
I f-ing love this thing. Worth the money. I already made 30 sandwiches with it this week alone for me and my family and it was perfect. I also made waffles, it can take a bit but worth it. Oh yeah and because it comes with detachable plates it's very easy to clean. Edit: i changed my review from 5 stars to 3, so the little lid on the top half of the machine broke and after 2 months a crack developed in the inside plastic and the support team that are in charge of replacements and such never contacted me back after I emailed them about my warranty.

Great sandwich waffle maker.
Great little machine have used so far for toasted sandwiches and waffles. When I got the machine didn't know it does not take a full slice of bread but not an issue just get either a smaller loaf or cut the crusts off. When making waffles best to turn halfway so the top goes brown as not cooking the same as the bottom. So far good value for money. Best read the booklet before use as intial switch on it does smoke slightly but after that nothing. We are loving it.

Great toasted sarnis for one
Bought to replace a brand supported by a heavyweight boxer. It failed after many year's hard work. This is more than adequate for one big sarnie, it heats fast, cooks well, and does not overburn! Easy to clean, smokes a bit more than the heavyweight predecessor. Has useful attachments that I have not yet deployed. Only downside is (i) it only takes one good sized sarnie at a time and (ii) using medium slice supermarket bread, I have to compress the uncooked sarnie to close the refining clip. That leads to a more compact, more dense finished sarnie. OK for me, but if you want a lighter product, watch out.
