Nintendo Switch - Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition - Switch

For anyone looking to get an Animal Crossing Edition Switch without paying more than retail price, my advice is to be patient and check back here frequently. At random times, a few consoles will be restocked and available for MSRP (thank you to the other customers in the Q&A who tipped me off about this!). Just a couple minutes after coming across that advice, I refreshed the page to test it out and this is exactly what happened. Originally it said it would take over a month to arrive but I ended up receiving it less than a week later. Just make sure the listing says "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" to ensure it's not a third party seller and that the price is exactly $299.99. In terms of the product itself, I had already been playing on another Switch for a while and it's a great console (aside from the infamous joycon drift issue). My preferred play style is docked on the TV but it works perfectly on handheld mode as well. The Animal Crossing edition is super cute with its pastel joycons and ACNH-themed dock, I highly recommend it!

This was a gift to myself at the end of the year and I must say I am extremely happy with the purchase. The animal crossing theme is adorable and fits the theme of my room extremely well. I love how soft and calming the blue and green joysticks are; they come in a light pastel color which appears just as the picture presents. Everything works well; I have not had any technical issues at all. It came with an HDMI cord to connect the switch to the tv, the screen, two joysticks and their wrist straps, the holder consul for the screen, and one empty controller. I would buy it again for sure.

I couldn't believe my luck when I was able to snag one at MSRP after the release date. It's so cute! I like the design of this one much better than the other switches, and the dock is adorable, especially if you're an Animal Crossing fan. And it's the newer version with improved battery life, too! I was thinking about getting a switch for a while, but the lack of games I absolutely had to have and the colors (I'm not a big fan of the standard colors/designs) put me off. Animal Crossing solved both of these problems with ACNH and this amazing special edition. My only complaint (other than how difficult it was to get - finally caught a restock in the middle of the night and even that sold out in less than 5 minutes) is that sometimes one of the joycons gets stuck when trying to remove it from the strap. It's probably just an issue with mine in particular, but it does make it kind of annoying to remove. I have to put some force into it, and I'm sure that one of these days, I'll accidentally scratch myself trying to remove it. Otherwise, it's very cute, and at MSRP, I'd definitely choose it over the other colors! PS - I hear that this version is restocking, at least in Japan, so absolutely do not buy from scalpers! When I was hunting for this, there were at least 100 being sold by scalpers for ~$500; now there are just over 20 for $750 each. It's cute, but it's not worth making a scalper $400+ off of other people's desperation. Just wait for a restock, or buy a regular switch and put a skin over it.

Exactly what I envisioned! It came new, in mint condition, and I still use it everyday. I love this limited edition and there was truly nowhere else I could buy this switch. I love it!

love my ninetendo switch! it has been filling the night with fun game nights amongst friends! the special edition is so aesthetically pleasing! i love the colors they are my fav colors of blue and was sooo happy to get another ninetendo product that is special edition and teal! works really well too and easy to attach to the outlets and tv. we didnt have to do much it comes right up on the screen when prompted too. now i do wish that this version had animal crossing the game come with it. i would have paid a little extra with it if that meant the game would have come with it

Purchased mine used for my son who has never had a Nintendo switch but loves animal crossing’s and the like. Even used, I found it to be a bit pricey but I imagine it’s due to being a limited addition. Animal Crossing’s doesn’t come with the console which is okay. I received it at a good time right before Christmas. When I opened it and reviewed it the console itself had some superficial scratches and part of the console was dusty requiring some cleaning. You can tell it’s been used with the knobs slightly worn out. For that, I remove one star. Otherwise, it still works really well, all parts intact, and just required a small quick upgrade to get going.

Paid for Nintendo switch console and got a cd

I got this as a graduation gift for myself alongside some other games that have been on my wishlist. One of the best gift that I got myself in 2020. I am enjoying it so much. I was so used to the 3DS screen quality that the Switch's quality just blew me away. I'm glad that I bought the original Switch versus the Lite. My friend told me that playing some games like FE:3 Houses on the Lite is painful because of the font size. At least you can zoom on both devices so... The Animal Crossing edition is so lovely. I never played AC before but I can see the appeal for it now! I look forward to getting more games and well soak up in the amazing game that this console has to offer. Never would I thought I would get the chance to play Witcher 3 on the Switch or some of these Steam/PS4 ported games. Thank you so much Nintendo as well as the developers that are releasing ports on the Switch. I hope that Nintendo gets along to port/remaster Xenoblade X (never had a Wii U so...), Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky! I would so get these games if they do so!
