I bought this since I started boxing to get all that sweat and stank out of my gloves and it works well. A little too well. Like really really really well. Let me explain. The scent on this is strong. Really really REALLY strong. If you like to get assaulted with a very strong smell of lavender that leaves its smell in its wake, then by all means buy it. These two bags will leave its smell on anything you lay it on FOOOORRRRREEEEEVEEEEEERRRRR. Hopefully you read that like Squints from The Sandlot. Practically everything I've laid this on now reeks of lavender. The couch, the washing machine, my gym bag, EVERYTHING. It's gotten to the point where I can't walk anywhere in my home without smelling the overpowering fragrance of lavender. The kids I the neighborhood laugh at me. Dog run away when I approach. My wife won't look at me, and everywhere I go strangers give me the stink eye. Will this get rid of sweat and make boxing gloves and shoes smell like lavender? Yes, but at a great cost.Get this if you're prepared to pay the price. Both monetary as well as mentally.

Really strong, works well

My daughter is a soccer goalie, and I have been looking for ways to keep her gloves from smelling like roadkill. Like, seriously, the worse smell I have ever encountered. Literally makes me gag when she got in the car after practice. We had to have a rule that gloves could not be taken out of her soccer bag until after she exited the car and they had to be zipped back up in her bag before re-entering the car. In addition, she had to use good-smelling hand sanitizer as well after practice. Simply HORRID. I tried all the tricks I could find on the internet. Nothing worked or wasn't practical. Then I came upon these beauties... LIFE-CHANGING!!!! Have not smelled her gloves ONCE since she has been using them. Last night was the first night I got a faint whiff of nasty goalie glove hands and my daughter confessed that she had forgotten to use them the prior evening after practice. Wish I had discovered these sooner!!

My 3rd or 4th set - this brand and style is my favorite.

I buy a new one around every 3 months. That's about how long they will continue to make your gear smell great. I practice muy thai and use this for two different pairs of gloves and for my shin pads ( I use cloth ones). It also makes my bag smell great.
