I've had this MacBook for a few weeks now and I love it! The seller shipped on time and it was delivered earlier than expected. It has pretty awesome awesome specs, smooth and fast. I'm a graphic designer who uses Photoshop, InDesign, illustrator etc and have multiple other programs, browsers etc running at the same time. There’s no lag. I bought this to replace my 2013 MacBook (that I loved and named McKenzie) and the difference is obvious. This laptop is refurbished but I couldn't what what wrong. It has neither scratches not technical hangups. I'm not a computer expert, just an end user who wants a powerful machine, that runs all my programs without delay and in satisfied. Ooh and the display is wonderful. At first, I had in auto adjust but then as comfortable as that was on my eyes, my screen was cream coloured and I needed it bright white for best colour representation. I knew I was going to buy a refurbished MacBook because I could get better specs for my budget, but I was nervous about purchasing from an external source (not Apple). I'm glad I took the chance. What I would have gotten from the apple store had nothing on this. 5 stars.

I recently purchased a MacBook, and I was initially excited about the prospect of owning one of Apple's iconic products. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when, after just two months of use, I started experiencing a severe screen flickering issue. What made matters worse was that this problem occurred without any physical damage or accidents – it simply happened out of the blue. The screen flickering issue left me utterly frustrated, especially since it happened while I was traveling abroad. I was unable to return the product within the allotted timeline for returns, and that added to my frustration. I had expected a higher level of quality and reliability from a premium product like the MacBook. The laptop was used rarely and the flickering screen significantly impacted my productivity It was impossible to have any form of entertainment with the constant distraction of a flickering display. I attempted various troubleshooting steps and updates, but none of them resolved the issue. Overall, my experience with the MacBook has been far from ideal. The product's reliability and quality were not up to the standard I expected. which has always been known for its high-quality products. It's frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a device and then encounter such a serious issue shortly after purchase. I hope you addresses these quality control issues, as I believe you should stand behind the quality of their products, even after the initial purchase period has elapsed.

So I already had a MacBook Pro from 2014 which I have been using since 2014 until today. When I got this 2019 MacBook Pro, I thought it would be similar overall but I was wrong! First, the texture of typing is waayy better because the keyboard is different in the latest version (MacBook Keyboard was always the best even in the past but now they made it even better). It is infinitely soft with amazing touch and texture. And the sound system was what really shocked me. Not only was the sound quality waay better than 2014 MacBook Pro, but it could get damn loud.... yes, the internal speakers could create such loud sound... I tested the volume by playing some loud music... it could get extremely loud... not to mention the sound QUALITY was top of the line. And now the heart of the computer which is the speed/performance. Well, I don't even need to explain... MacBook Pro is one the fastest laptops out there(and I noticed it's even faster than other laptops with the same CPU because the Mac OS is built). If you're one of those people who love to pay more money but get the superior product in every way, it is definitely the best choice. If you're going for a cheap "most bang for the buck" product, then maybe it's not the right choice.

Definitely not “renewed” not even wiped down. Computer keyboard still had coffee or something on it, exterior case and charger were filthy, OS from prior owner still had printers, bluetooth devices, and monitor settings, but OS was reset, OS was set for UK, so it definitely wasn't wiped correctly or even cleaned...but for $299 it works with no defects...battery at 77% but performing strong. Only dropped once! HAHAHA. This computer sucked until it was upgraded to Sequoia 15.5 with fan blasting constantly, and video/browsing freezing and delay, so don’t judge until all OS upgrades are complete. Sequoia installed and it is now silent and working like a champ. I saved $50 buying -Used-Acceptable….maybe not such a good deal needing a $179 battery swap. Still runs 2 -hours on battery…most important, it is 100% functional.

I had a great experience with Chrome Source staff, and would recommend everyone to buy from them. 3 months after my purchase, they followed up on my user experience to see if the device was working to my satisfaction, not to mention the competitive prices of their computers. If you need reliable devices and a company that cares about its customers, look no further.

The computer was not as described. There are dings all over the computer and a large visible dent on the bottom cover. The keyboard keys were covered with tape to hide the black fading off and the backlight coming through. The packaging was a joke. The laptop was placed in a thin bubble sleeve in a large box so it had to be bouncing around in transit. The laptop was dirty.., I had to clean it.
