Great for burns. I get burned almost every summer. This gel provided relief from the burn and helped prevent peeling. It had a nice feel going on and smells good too. Not at all medicinal. It is worth every penny!!

I love how this makes my skin so soft. It's moisturizing and easy to use. It's amazing quality from a trusted brand for a decent price. I also love how it smells like summer on a caribbean island. I can see the turquoise waters and hear the ocean breeze every time I take a sniff.

We first came across this lotion during our vacation in Georgia. After a long day in the sun, someone at Kroger recommended the Sun Bum Cool Down Aloe Vera Lotion, and we're honestly glad they did. It was exactly what our skin needed. It feels soothing right away, especially on warm, sun-exposed skin. The texture is light and absorbs quickly. What I really appreciate is that it leaves my skin moisturized and calm without any sticky or greasy shine. No heavy film, no uncomfortable feeling afterward. Back home in Germany, we ordered another bottle straight away because it simply became part of our summer routine. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and the cocoa butter gives it that extra nourishing touch. If you’re looking for an after-sun lotion that hydrates deeply while still feeling light and clean on the skin, this one is definitely worth trying.

Sun Bum After Sun Lotion is a soothing, hydrating product ideal for post-sun skin care. The lotion absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and has a fresh, tropical scent. The consistency a bit runny hence the deduction of one star. Overall, it’s a beach-bag essential that leaves your skin soft and refreshed after a day in the sun.

I would provide a picture of the bottle but TSA took mine. This is some of the best post sunburn lotion I have ever used. I just finished writing a review of a sunblock lotion that did a great job, what I did not mention was the only sunburn I got was on my lower back where I didn't apply that lotion. It was a pretty uncomfortable burn, especially when I tried to sleep in the forward berth of a sailboat, or when I tried to wear swimming trunks with an elastic type waist, thankfully I had a couple of sets of board shorts that alleviated that irritation. But back on point. What I like the most about this lotion is how it applies. Usually, in the past, I did not like using aloe lotions because I felt like it was like glue when it dried on my skin and I felt like it made my skin feel tight. This stuff applies extremely well and I'm not exaggerating one bit when I say the relief is IMMEDIATE. As soon as I applied it to my sunburn, I felt immediate relief! It also doesn't feel like you just spread a bunch of super glue on your burn when it dries. It absorbs into your skin, cools your "hot spot" and doesn't leave a residue to get onto your clothing, or onto the mattress in my berth on the sailboat. Win and win. I can't recommend this product enough. The only negative experience was when TSA snagged my bottle going through security in Miami because I forgot to put it in my checked bag. But that was just the good ol' TSA doing their job in the amazing way they always do. (sarcasm dripping sounds) It works so well that I bought a replacement. So I would recommend purchasing the 3 oz tube if you plan on traveling with it. This is an excellent product, I'm not sure how long it lasts, because I forgot my sunburn was nothing me, or it enabled me to fall back asleep after applying. It does have that coconutty smell, but it's not like I just spent 3 hours in a hot tub filled with coconut oil. Hmmm... Idea forming... Anyway, purchase with confidence, this Texan who got a sunburn on his lower back and treated it with Sun Bum approves this message.

I’ve been working up my base tan and figuring out the length of time I need to sit in the sun without burning. I got a mild sunburn on my back from not paying attention to my timer and needed something to make sure my back didn’t peel and ruin my tan I’ve been working so hard on. Although the burn was mild, I applied this gel and felt instant relief. It blended into my skin very nicely and took away the redness (I’m not sure how it works on more severe burns as mine wasn’t bad at all so it worked pretty fast for me). My kids stay outdoors all the time and although they barely burn with sunscreen, sometimes it happens if the UV is higher those days. This will save them pain from the burn and give them a lot of relief. I will definitely be keeping this in stock in my home.

Premetto che sono un fun delle protezioni solari sunbum che uso da anni e per la prima volta ho voluto provare anche la crema dopo sole. Il prodotto arrivato non era sigillato e mancavano più di due dita dall’orlo. Anche l’odore era sgradevole ma non ho potuto verificare la scadenza perché non era indicata. Purtroppo non ho potuto nemmeno fare il reso perché sono partito per le vacanze, praticamente acquisto buttato.
