Enlightening introduction to Vedic philosophy. Full of ancient wisdom on higher thought and how to live. Highly recommended to anyone who is brave enough to question, " Is there more to life than what is taught by our societies and governments, and portrayed on T.V.?" This is a high quality hardback print edition.

If someone would ask which of all Upanisads I prefer the most, it would be Isa. This book literary opens the eyes on the Upanishadic knowledge, and if you have it with you on kindle is it an evaluable resource. Have a look at Sri Isopanisad on paper too.

I ordered two of these because they were advertised as hardcover but I received two softcover versions.

I am a particular fan of this book as well as numerous others by the author, because I believe in Krishna, and he has been a personal God to me for nearly 4-decades. As such, I often seek out more durable copies (read: hardbound) of the softcover books, so that I essentially have a 'keeper.' Although advertised here as a Hardbound edition of Sri Isopanisad (even via Prime) it is a softbound book. I complained about this and had the volume sent back out to me, and they sent the exact same one again???

Beautiful book. Real substance and nourishment for life. Truly Recommended.
