Nice piece of kit bought for wild camping, feels sturdy enough without being too heavy in the pack, has all the tech you would want without too much weight. The waterproof storage sack it comes in doubles as a pump, its a little fiddly but ok, once you get the hang of it.

Bought this mat as an upgrade and was mislead on the r value. It says warmth of 5 and when it arrived it said its 2.8. Pictires showing it be used on snow, would definitely not use it on snow. Used twice and in the second time the mat deflated and i woke up cold on the floor. Would highly recommend not to waste money in this mat

I really wanted to like this mat, I waited in 2019 for it to come out as I thought it was a great price point (£54 from Gaynor sports) between cheap rubbish and Thermarests. Two year warranty was really valuable in the end!!I inflated it once on a camping trip, a single over night, but the next morning I was flat on the ground. I thought I'd made a mistake, so didn't really think much more of it. A year later I took it cycle camping again, just one over night and was flat on the floor again. Once home, I pumped it up and put in the bath to see basically the entire bottom seams of the mat were all leaking.This is a really poorly manufactured product, check out other reviews. Some comment on incorrect R values, others comment on the fact it deflates also.Fair play to Vango, I sent it back to the retailer and they sent me a refund quite quickly - no quibble and it's for this that I gave the two stars as the customer service is sound. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a thermarest, which is what I should have done before :-)

Really disappointed with this.We've had Vango kit in the past and have been impressed however this mat is rubbish.Used it twice, and deflated itself on the second night. Used the puncture repair kit on it, and found the leak but the repair kit it comes with is also useless. After applying the patch and copious amounts of glue and leaving it overnight its still seeping air. Decided to give up and picked up a different one from a local store (can't remember the name)Just for context I'm not exactly a big piece of kit, 72kg & 5ft 6 so I can imagine bigger units than myself sleeping on this, just incase anyone was wondering if I plonked too much chub on the mat causing the leak.As for the mat itself compared to my Missis Berghaus one, it's nowhere near as warm.It's incredibly noisey despite what they mention about it being quiet, and the pillow is about as pronounced as a hedgehogs speech impediment.
