Shars 0.2"-1.2" Precision Inside Micrometer, 0.0001" Resolution 303-2101 P)

I've slowly been gathering metrology tools, having done without for decades, and my hobby reflected that. This and other tools go a long way toward attaining precise measurements, with projects being something that you can be proud of, instead of something full of cheated holes! A surprisingly well-made unit, and it's nice to have measuring tools that don't contain dead batteries!

This mic was purchased for boring jobs on the lathe, and it fits the bill. This is the first Shars tool to be purchased and the quality is quite good! It is accurate, and repeatable. Highly recommend!

Works , good reference tool not perfect for all I.D. measurements.

It’s a great tool

I have a small inside vernier micrometer which is difficult for me to read and zero. This one does the job very nicely. What I need to measure is well within the range. *** Revised 5/16/24 This is the second one that bound up. I'm giving up on it and zero stars is not possible

A little unwieldy because of the part sticking off the digital display. Came accurate enough for me(within 15 hundredths 0.00015") and ostensibly reads to 0.00005". Quality like I've come to expect from Shars.

Im very impressed with this inside mic. Its easy to use and read. Pretty accurate and great for lathe use. I can definitely recommend it.
