Ni Hao Kai-lan Great Trip To China [Old Version]

This review is for the game's performance in a Mac environment. I have not played it in Windows.Was this game even playtested before they released it? The animation during the introduction has horrible timing with characters talking on top of each other. The opening to "Cooking with Gunainai" also has animation issues with Gunainai repeating herself. (I am not referring to repeating the instructions for what the player should do to advance the game.) Finally, the conclusion of the game includes the software losing connection with the mouse, so you can't do the last click that will end the game. You have to hit the esc key to force-exit the game, as the exit button can't be clicked either.If the game actually worked, it would be a great game for young kids (hence two stars, not one). It's charming and engaging, non-violent, and educational with two play levels of challenge. It's a shame that it was rushed to the market without proper testing and debugging.
