I bought this to clean weld out of a bolt hole. Trying to file the weld out was a joke. This combined with a rotary tool made short work of the project. Right tool for the job.

Bought it to widen a door lock piece. It worked, but it’s rather expensive.

Works great, needed to clean up some mild steel pipe and i was surprised at how fast it chewed theough metal

I decided to replace an ancient Schlage gate lock on our iron courtyard gate with a Kwikset Smart Key lock. I expected there would be some difference in the depth of the latch and there was. This required moving a hole of approximately 2" diameter 3/8" closer to edge of the gate in steel plates on each side of the gate. These steel plates were probably 1/16"+ thick and obviously strengthened for use with the locks. While it required the use of two different battery powered drills on two different days (batteries required recharging), it required just this one burr. I wish I had taken a photo but hopefully my words paint an effective picture. The burr remains usable.

I use this burr in a lathe mounted chuck to smooth wood pieces cut on a band saw before sanding. It works pretty well but can be a little grabby if too much pressure is applied. Overall I'm satisfied with it for what I use it for.

Got the 2 burrs soon after ordering, look like good quality and should work fine, haven’t used yet, but contents that I ordered and is marked on the box from the manufacturer, is not what’s inside. Ordered and is checked on the box is SB5DC. The real content is SA5DC which does not have cutting ability on the end. Here is hoping I have the only 2 ever labeled wrong and S and F does a check on inventory

Really removes material but leaves a rough surface. Use it to clean up welds in the corners but have to follow up with a sanding roll to smooth it out.

Excellent product, i used it on cast iron and it worked perfect no problem. I recommend it 100 %.
