Teva Women's Original Flip Sandal

I have another pair of Teva flip flops, and they had lasted well, so wanted another. Some have mentioned that these are narrow. Yes, they are. I have bunions, so I can't just slip my foot into them like I can other flip flops, I have to work the straps onto my foot. The bottom of the flip flop is fairly firm, not as "squidgy" as the other pair of Teva that I have. But I am finding that the more I wear them, the more I like them. Being a little narrow, they hold my foot better so that my toes don't have to do a lot of work to hold them on my feet, and that is tiring when you do a lot of walking when you're shopping. And being a bit firmer, I don't feel the small stones on the road that I'm now noticing when I am wearing softer bottomed flip flops. I like the nylon (?) woven straps, they are comfortable and don't rub anywhere. They are also comfortable between the toes. Would I buy them again? Yes, I would.

I had never owned a pair of Teva flip flops before, and after wearing these all summer I don't think I'll ever go back to a crummy pair of old navy flops! I was pregnant all summer and needed a pair of flip flops I could slip on and wear without having that classic, excruciating foot pain ladies always talk about. I was wearing a pair of flat target sandals most days and they just started causing my feet to ache so badly half way through the day. I decided to give Teva a try since they had so many good reviews and were very affordable. I love these so much. I wore them almost every day all summer, and they still look brand new. What does it take to wear these things out?! I love the rubber soles, and the fact that they are black you don't get that icky dirty foot mark you get on leather sandals. I would recommend these to anyone, but especially to anyone pregnant or with foot pain needing something comfortable!*DO buy them one size up! Everyone's reviews are correct when they say they run one size too small! I wear 8's and got these in a 9 and they are perfect.

I think these are good flip flops, though the strap on them is set in a weird place. I think it might be, maybe too tight across the foot for where it's placed. This is not really a bad thing but, it's worth mentioning if one has flat feet. The thong portion is comfortable to the point where I don't feel it at all and that's great. Sometimes the thong part can irritate the skin, these pair don't have that problem. The sole of these have some kind of groved over surface that feels amazing to rub against the skin. I found myself doing that a lot after wearing these all day. The arch support is to be expected, fairly decent for a basic sandal but not bad.I find that I can wear these all day and I'm glad that I have a second pair coming soon.

I know to order Tevas one-half to one size larger than I normally wear so the size, while definitely running small, wasn't an issue for me. They are a little shorter than my older Tevas of the "same" size, different style.I wear 5.5 and the 6 started out tight (straps) but they are feeling better as I wear them. I've been wearing a different style Teva for a couple years and it was time to retire them. I got this style because it was half the price of my old pair. They will take a little breaking in, they have a harder sole than my previous pair, and the straps are just tight. I've been wearing them around the house to break in a little at a time and already the straps don't feel so tight.I can tell these will be very comfy in no time and they feel sturdy. In Hawaii I wear slippers almost daily so I need them to last. I think these will.

I have had many pairs of Teva over the years and I just wanted this color. You will want to order one size up. I like that the foot bed is black... with lighter colors they really show dirt... yuck.. They do have a bumpy texture which does take a little getting used to if you're used to flat, smooth flip-flop surfaces. In my experience they last years and years without breaking down, which is nice. They usually cost a little more than most flip-flops. There is a slight heel and arch, but it's not really orthotic in any way, however, probably better than a purely flat foot bed.

I've always loved flip flops but as I grew older I knew I needed more arch support. Consequently I went to the Teva brand. What I got was a superior flip flop, but a flip flop nonetheless. Little support. I do have wide feet, but even going up a half size, because they only come in even sizes, my foot is squeezed just a little. No one would notice but me, but it's there. If you are sold on flip flops, go for it--they are about the best you'll find, but don't look for a lot of support.

Perfect for what I wanted--outdoors by the pool. Can get wet and not become slippery. Can be washed if they get dirty. Good price on this color at the time--much cheaper than some other colors. Later I got coral at a good price. BIG diffs in prices depending on color. They do run small --based on other reviews I got the 8 and I am definitely a 7. They are wide enough for my wide feet--no toes over the edge. Comfortable enough for my needs--I'm not someone who wears flip fops for hours normally.

I bought these for my daughter after buying myself a pair and loving them! They work well for her, however due to the way she walks, the sole is wearing weird on these and has been wearing out almost sideways. I'm pretty sure that it's the way she walks and not the actual shoe, but know if you don't walk "normal", these may wear out weird and you may have to toss them sooner than you expect.

Wife is happy.

These are quite a lot too small, strange as I'm wearing my other Perfectly fitting Teva sandals the same size as I write this. They're quite narrow and the toe hold is so far down the sole that my heel is off the backWeird really to find such inconsistency in the same make.

Very happy with this purchase, and it's terribly comfy too.

I am standard size UK5 but they come up small the size UK 6 fits me fine.
