Superb British Hiking Socks!
Simply superb socks, thick, cushy and a toe seam that is truly flat, Sock Shop From Britain ships super fast too. I ordered another 8 pairs of HJ Hall socks after getting the first 2 pairs to check out fit and quality (A+ on both).

Warm, comfortable, long lasting socks.
These are very comfortable socks. For many years, I regularly wore army surplus socks since they were softer - but more resilient and more absorbent - than ordinary socks. Later, I changed to wearing hill walking socks, which are better still. For most of my life I've continued to wear this kind of sock every day, mostly made by H J Hall. Although more expensive, they are longer lasting, and much better and more comfortable than ordinary wool or nylon socks.There's a wide range of styles, colours and sizes available with this kind of sock. Certainly recommended for warmth, comfort and durability.

Excellent socks
Love these socks. As a volunteer at a dog rescue I walk many miles in all weathers and keep my boots on all day. Great winter socks for wellies or walking boots. The main reason I rate them is because they do not feel uncomfortably soggy when they get damp from sweat or rain. They dry very quickly and seem to keep the wet way from my feet. My first pair has lasted over a year so far.

Hi received two pairs of sock's. Found them very comfortable to wear but on the second wearing the stitching at the toe section parted. Very disappointed is this normal or was I just unlucky.
