Dont flop it around, it'll rip! Otherwise is a sturdy, well made cork-whatever mat. The peices dont shed everywhere liberally like other similar mats.

So cute outside the front door to welcome people to our dog friendly home! Heavy, lays flat and doesn’t slip at all. The bristles are thick and strong enough to thoroughly wipe/clean shoes. Perfect for outdoor use. Great price compared to comparable door mats.

Let me start by saying the customer service experience I had with this company deserves 5 stars also. When my rug arrived, the shipping box was fine but the box the rug came in had a whole in it, which created a small tear on the back of the rug. While the damage to the rug was minimal (it was on the PVC backing so you couldn't see it unless you looked really hard once it was right side up), I was pissed that someone saw the damage and decided to package it and mail it to me anyway. When I received the standard follow-up email, I replied that I was disappointed that a damaged product was shipped to me and sent them a photo of the rug. They promptly apologized and sent me a replacement rug. They even followed up a while later to let me know that they had reviewed their practices to make sure it won't happen again. Kudos to the company for caring about their customer experience and following up! Now onto the rug. I waited a few weeks before reviewing because I wanted to give it a whirl for a while. Overall I'm very pleased with the rug. It did shed the first week or so but after some good shakes it got better. It's very sturdy and can hold up to rough wiping. I'm remodeling a house inside and out so my shoes can be pretty dirty when I come it. So far this rug has been able to handle the work and look good in the process.

Was looking for a sustainable door mat that's not made of plastic or polyester. I read that coconut coir is & this is100% coconut coir. It's simple, minimal & does the job

I REALLY wanted to love this!! It has the trendy/stylish look and it was the right price, it’s thick/sturdy and feels like it would hold up really well!! It just… sheds. A TON! I gave it months to see if it was just preliminary shedding of loose fibers- it’s been 5 months now- but it STILL sheds and gets only light use on a covered front porch (we use our garage door for home access much more than our front door where this is placed). The shedding makes the welcome mat area just look dirty and unkempt instead of the neat welcoming look I was going for. I’m disappointed because I really thought it’d be great. It can only have the look if it’s never stepped on at all or swept/shaken/brushed off daily. I don’t have the time for that. I want the first impression of my home to be a good one, not the messy look this mat gives. (Lord KNOWS, I have an uphill battle inSIDE my home with 4 kids to keep after, lol!) The pictures I’m sharing are after I shook and brushed off the mats the other day for an expected guest. So, not their best looking but not as bad as usual. This shows about what it would look like with little to no use. But you can still see how many fibers are out and around. <<I wanted to write this review while I was thinking about it, because I keep forgetting. I plan on uploading more pics once it’s been used some again to show how the mat looks most of the time.>>

Great colour. Looks sturdy so wear and tear shouldn't be an issue. I especially like that this mat is nice and heavy so it won't blow away.
