GNA50i 50-Amp 6000-Watt Parallel Connection Kit for Inverter Generators, Black

Yet another well thought out and designed product from WEN. I bought this along with two WEN 56200i's to run the AC in my travel trailer (like so many others). While I haven't been able to use it with the AC yet, I did run a parallel test with a couple of heaters and an air compressor, just to verify that it (and both of the generators) worked properly. Yup, worked like a champ. Ran the 2 1500 watt heaters without a hiccup. Couldn't handle the additional load of the compressor, but since that is a 12 amp load, I was effectively asking the 2 generators to put out 4320 watts. They're only rated to 2000 apiece, so... As far as the design and build quality of the parallel kit, it's pretty tough to beat. It's solid, has nice connectors, and rain/dust covers for the outlets. But the best part, assuming you're using it with a WEN generator, is the clever spring/clip mechanism for attaching the parallel kit to the top of you generator (somebody has a picture of it on a Honda generator, but they don't show the back so I don't know if it's attached or just resting on top). Brilliant design, keeps it out of the way and off of the ground. And, as if that wasn't enough, it seems to be the least expensive parallel kit out there. I'm slowly developing a fondness for WEN products. They, at the least, approach the quality of the major players, at a price far, far below them (the generators are less than half the cost). Purchased this kit to go with 2 new WEN 3600 Generators I recently bought for the Travel Trailer. Went with 50 Amp kit because it has both 50 Amp and 30 Amp interfaces. Have run it in parallel mode now for 18 hours and it has been flawless showing no signs of overheating, etc. The only issue I had was that the 30 Amp Twistlock interface, when connected to a 30 amp TT-30R power cord, was technically upside down and the power cord stood straight up. I rotated the interface 180 degrees and it now works better. I also mounted it to a 6" x 4" x 12" piece of pressure treated post to get the parallel kit up off the ground when using it in a Generator tent outdoors.

good addition to generators,easy set up that will give you more power

Used this to connect a Yamaha EF2000is and a A-IPower SC2000i generator together and it works perfect. All you have to do is plug them together, make sure you connect the ground wires to each generator, and fire them up. I went through the extra effort and used my multimeter and double checked which pins were connected directly to neutral on each generator and labeled the hots as red, and connect red to red, black to black. Zero issues. Was able to pull 3000w continuous and 4500w for 15 seconds without any issues. I use it for my welder (needs 30a 115v)

I bought this cable in April of 2023 and has worked flawlessly ever since. Very easy to set up and ran my 15k BTU AC, including start up. The cable is well made and plugs in with a good connection that stays put even after 8+ hrs of use. I have both the non-companion and companion Honda EU2000i generators. Overall a very good value.

Much more beefy than the supplied cables. Even running the air conditioner on my motorhome the cables did not heat up. Looks pricey but when it comes to performance it's worth every cent. I'm very happy with this purchase thank you
