Watchmen: An HBO Limited Series (Blu-ray)

A great sequel to Watchmen graphic novel and Zach Snyder Watchmen movie. A total remix but still a great mini series to watch. Only one season

The product arrived in perfect condition. I am a huge fan of the Watchmen Universe and have read all the comics as well as seen the movie and extras. So when I heard that HBO was creating a Watchmen show, I could hardly wait. It takes place in an alternate history 34 years after the events of the book. Following a member of the police, Sister Night, in Tulsa, Oklahoma as she uncovers the truth about events that have happend. This is an amazing continuation of The Watchmen Universe and I am hoping that they make more. This is a limited series and there wont be more, but you never know. Its got the humor, action, drama, secrets, and overall vibe of the original Watchmen story line. Before watching this, I highly recommend reading the Before Watchmen Series and the Watchmen series itself as well as watching the Tales Of The Black Freighter and Under The Hood. And if you want you can read the Doomsday Clock series with all the extra things you need to read with that as well, but it isn't required. Don't worry about watching the movie because this is more of a contiuation of the graphic novel. This is an amazing show for any Watchmen fan and can't recommend it enough. This contains all 10 episodes of the first season as well as 90 minutes of extra content all on 3 Blu-Ray discs as well as adigital code. The mailing process was great and the show is awesome.

An incredible follow-up to the classic Watchman comic. You should be well aware of the comic story, characters and plot points as the casual viewer will be quite confused at the jumping on point Quality work once again from HBO

I really enjoy this series. It is a one season stand alone set. Damon Lindof was always out to make the show just 9 episodes. That doesn't mean there is no possibility of building more off what is done here but it won't be with the same producing team. That being said this series is a must have for the fans of the Watchmen franchise it is a solid well written set episodes that I feel will add to the legend on both the comic and the film set of stories. The acting is fine most fit nicely into their roles and give fine performances. The directing and writing are really a cut above the usual superhero TV fare and fans will get into it. Watch for Jeremy Irons as he gives a stunning performance in my opinion. If you are a fan of the franchise I highly recommend you add this Blue Ray or DVD set to your collection.

Really good show but no longer contains the digital code, seems it’s expired anyway

This series is amazing. It continues the Watchman story rather than retelling it, echoing the themes, ideas, and tones of the graphic novel without ever repeating them. The depth of storytelling is top notch, with layered meaning and multiple shifts of perspective which somehow never feel overly disorienting. Plot outcomes are surprising, but not in the annoyingly arbitrary "surprise!" way, it all has meaning and makes sense in the end. I would love to say more but don't want to give spoilers. The people saying it is overly political, I don't get that. Other than the general idea that white supremacy is bad, I don't think it is all that political. It explores ideas of what it means to be "good" or "bad" with about as much depth as I have seen in a television show.

Great serie

It's not often you see an adaptation or a sequel that reaches the same heights as the original work. To find one that RETROACTIVELY improves upon the original is a downright biblical miracle. Unless you're a proud racist, or Alan Moore, you have ZERO excuses to not give this one a chance. Admittedly, some details in the story will be murky for those who never read the comic (This is a sequel to the COMIC, not the awful Zack Snyder film adaptation!), but then again........why on earth didn't you read the original graphic novel to begin with!? Read the book, watch the series. Then rinse and repeat.

まだ１話しか観てませんが、たぶん国内盤と同じの仕様ではないでしょうか。お得でした。 ただ、ディスクがケースからすぐ外れやすいです。

Hay trabajo detrás de esta serie. Efectos, trama, actuaciones, reparto, giros de guión. Si bien por momentos recuerda a Lost y mezcla personajes de la novela gráfica como otros totalmente nuevos, logra dar al clavo y continuar la distopia propuesta por Alan Moore. A pesar de tener algunos episodios un poco flojos, normalmente la serie va de menos a más, los 9 episodios funcionan y cierran bien el arco en esta mini serie que no debería continuar. A lo más, deben hacerse spin offs sobre los antedendes y consecuencias de esta historia sin la participación de los involucrados. Muy recomendable ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

この北米版は、BRプレーヤーにディスクを入れると日本語メニューが立ち上がるので、問題なく視聴できます。日本語音声、日本語字幕ともに対応しています。 内容については好みが分かれます。他のHBOのような人間ドラマを期待すると、残念に思うかもしれません。先に映画版を観て、予習したほうが良いかも。

Excelente adaptación de la obra de Alan Moore. El envío llego justo a tiempo y en muy buenas condiciones. Es una excelente compra.
