I don't normally read self help books, but I did love this one - I've been overloading myself a bit lately, and this book helped me think through some of the hows and whys. I'm more the sort of person who needs to say no to herself more than to other people, but even so the book has helped me identify some ways to evaluate what I should say yes or no to.As a believer, I particularly loved that Ruth comes at this from a Christian perspective that places value on trusting God and doing things we don't always love because they're a way of showing love to others, but unbelievers will find the book encouraging too.

Like a long chat with a wise friend.
I loved this book. It was simple and concise, didn’t repeat itself endlessly (which is a problem I have with some self-help type books), and I came away feeling encouraged, inspired, and like the author had just left my house after a long chat and a great coffee. I wish more books left me feeling like that.
