Flash Drive 32GB Dual USB C USB 3.0 OTG with Keychain Hole USB Flash Drive for Laptop PC PDA Smartphones Tablet Samsung (Silver,32GB)

This is my new go-to thumb drive. I love the form factor and feel of it. The swiveling cover that rotates between covering the USB-C and USB-A side clicks into position, and while that part is made of plastic it actually feels fairly solid. But I didn't buy it for looks alone so I wanted to see how well a no-name drive would work. So...Using the USB-C side I transferred a 75GB ZIP file from a Kingston128GB USB-C through a VAVA USB-C adapter to this the 128GB version of this thumb drive. All this was connected to my 2016 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.6. I've added and moved files off it since then without feeling like there's any lag. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase. I wish they made a 256GB or 512GB version.Notes:- The actual Kingston Drive I transferred from is the Kingston Digital 128GB Data Traveler Micro Duo USB 3C Flash Drive (DTDUO3C/128GB) (from Amazon for $31: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M59PHE4)- The hub I had everything connected through was the VAVA USB C Hub, 7-in-1 USB C Adapter for MacBook/Pro/Air (Thunderbolt 3), with 4K USB-C to HDMI, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, SD/TF Cards Reader, 100W Power Delivery Dock for iPad Pro/MacBook/Type C Devices (from Amazon for $24: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084ZDPNTT)- The other bigger drive connected in the photo is the still tiny 1TB SanDisk SSD drive. It's my workhorse and has been great for hosting working files and backups as well.

Small, handy, takes up a lot of space, I carry it with my keys.

I received it today and just flipping it around has made the hinge loose. I expect if I put it on my keychain I wont have it long, plugged it into my phone to transfer pics for this review and it failed. No longer a useable drive even after ejecting restarting and retrying both pc and pixel phone

Transfer rates are awesome, device does well. The drive does get hot enough to be concerned that data may corrupt or device may cause damage to whatever device it's plugged into.

This tiny thumb drive is the perfect answer for people who need to transfer files across multiple computer generations when you don't have internet service. Or for many other situations I'm sure. It neatly rotates between USB1/2 and USB-C connectors with a solid click-stop. It is very fast. Very compact. I put it on a lanyard; otherwise it would be easy to lose b/c its so small. I haven't had the problem of detectable heating reported by some but most of the files I transfer are 10s to 100s of Mb so it takes only a few seconds at most and maybe that's not enough to overheat it. The only negative, and its minor, is that its so small that sometimes its hard to remove it, depending on the port configuration, b/c you can't get much purchase on it to pull it out. I just yank on the lanyard and that works for me. No software installation or setup whatsoever required.

The pixel 8 has a USB-C port that can be used for charging or data connection. The thumb drive worked perfect to transfer files easily to/from the phone.

Nice for going between older and newer laptops. Easy to format to FAT32 using Windows explorer.
