(With SQUIRREL REPELLING we have been getting about a 73% Review: very bad product. - I bought this and as soon as I switched on my dog started barking and became restless. I tried to position it in the garden, in the shed and my dog continued barking. Even when I pit it in the loft the same thing happened. I could not use it. I contacted the seller who was very unhelpful. I spent a lot og money and cannot use the item, which should have clearly stated on the box that dogs are sensitive to it. Be careful ! you will not get your money back as customer service is terrible. There are better erepellents and cheaper ones too. Review: I've been skeptical because over the years haven't found a sonic repeller that actually seemed to work. But I tried this and I am impressed. I had a huge mouse infestation when I got a lot of stuff out of storage and it was full of mice. I would find droppings all over my kitchen counters and even see mice running across the floor. I got rid of most of the storage stuff and cleaned up really well, then set up this device and haven't seen anything since. OK, a few pellets every now and then, as if a mouse has come in to check it out, got a headache and then left. (My house is surrounded by fields so I expect to see them trying to come in.) But this has been a "no news is good news" kind of scenario. I just haven't seen any. I have one in my garage, one in the basement and one on the main level. I recently bought a ranch house in Wyoming and this fall found mouse signs in my kitchen. I set up one of these devices in the middle of the house. This has four settings and the loudest setting will give me a blinding headache within a minute----it is AWFUL. So I set it up on a table right by my back door so I could turn it down as soon as I come into the house. I left it on for a week, and when I got back I found a dead mouse on the floor in that room and seven dead mice in my bathtub. The only thing I can think of is that they tried to get away from the noise by jumping in the sunken tub. I had set three traps in the kitchen and they are untouched and there is no sign of recent infestation, so I l am thinking this sonic blaster is really working. I will turn it on high when I leave and then down to a tolerable level while I am here, and start doing that rotation of sound levels on all of them so when I am gone they are super loud. The mice in the tub were in a room that has two walls between it and the repeller, so it seemed to penetrate them and affect the whole house. I am so impressed I am ordering more, so I can put two in infested vehicles and one in the Wyoming garage. I am mouse-phobic, had a friend die of Hanta Virus, so I am really serious about keeping them away.

I typically do not do reviews, however have been so pleased with how these worked, I wanted to spread the word on how well these perform. Recently, we have seen a major increase in Norway rats. We live next to a pasture that is now under development in a large metropolitan area. We could not go out in our backyard without having our dogs a leashes, because there were so many rats in the backyard. We called an exterminator and had 4 bait boxes set outside as well as 2 in our attic. He told me it would take a while to start seeing a difference, as the rats had to eat the bait, then feed the babies, but this should work and the bait should last 6 months. Of course, this wasn't a quick enough resolution for me. I raise show dogs, and don't need diseases, fleas, etc, spread by the rats. I searched for more answers and found several websites stating when the infestation is bad, multiple repellents need to be used. I researched the ultrasonic repellers, and really liked what I saw with the T3-R. I ordered 2 of them at the end of the week, one for our patio area, and one for the pool equipment/storage building area and they arrived that Saturday. The directions were very easy to understand, and I had them set up in just a few minutes. I had read reviews that stated the frequencies didn't hurt the dogs ears, and for my older dogs, it did not...I have a young male, and he whimpered a little for a few days when I would let them out back, so I would turn them off when he was outside. Within a week, he became accustomed to the sound, and we no longer have to turn them off. The Friday before we received these units, I had the exterminator back out to check the bait traps, and ALL 4 OF THE OUTSIDE BAIT TRAPS WERE STRIPPED TOTALLY CLEAN!!!!!! These are the large outdoor bait stations that you see outside restaurants and hold 3 bait "logs." The exterminator stated he had NEVER seen the traps cleaned out so thoroughly that quickly, and he confirmed that they had only been out 2 weeks. He refilled the stations, and said he was interested in finding out if these worked, and asked me to call his personal cell phone if they did. I've got to call him and let him know we are thoroughly pleased with the results we have seen since we added these. The exterminator left a key to the bait stations so we could check them ourselves, and it has been a month now, and the bait has not been touched! I would say within 3-4 days, we stopped seeing evidence of the rats in the back yard, and the dogs lost interest in hunting the varmits. We also had a couple of storms that dumped 7-8 inches of rain within a 12 hour period, and as long as these units are not sitting in puddles of water and have some sort of overhang to block some of the water, these units have continued operating perfectly. Because of my strong desire and aversion to the rats, I had emailed the seller 2-3 times, and I have to say the customer service has been excellent! I am planning on ordering 2 more so I can have complete coverage around the entire exterior of my home. This area is seeing a lot of building and development, and I'd rather the rodents go somewhere else. From speaking to our neighbors, there have been rat issues in our neighborhood for the last 30 years...obviously, we weren't told this when we bought the house...so it's all out war on these 4 legged Devils! Thank you for giving me back our backyard! These have done everything they were stated to do!

7/26/16 Review I received my T3-R mice repeller approximately 5 days ago and set it up immediately as I have had some creature living inside my mattress (talk about months of awful sleep - being awakened by something gnawing and bumping around underneath you). I tried everything from power cleaning, mothballs (almost poisoned myself), snap traps, poison, and peppermint oil - all with minimal effect. I took all of the plastic under bed shoe storage boxes out and placed the unit under my bed on the hardwood floor. I have no bed skirt so the sound travels all across the room and seems to have drastically reduced the visits from my non-rent paying roommates. Pros: * Small unit (approximately 4 inches high, 5 inches in diameter) and it's corded so you're not stuck with the location of your wall plug which may be obstructed by furniture. This was a huge selling point for me because you really want to get the unit in an area where the sound waves are not blocked by anything. * Effectiveness. I still have occasional visits from the creature(s) but they have decreased significantly since getting this unit. The instructions say to give it 12-16 days for maximum effectiveness and I'm only on day 5 but if this is any indication of what's to come then I expect my room will be a peaceful retreat once again in the very near future. * Customer Service. I received very detailed instructions from the seller with email and phone numbers where I can contact him directly should there be any problems with my unit. This seller genuinely cares about his customers' satisfaction and from previous reviews I could see that he stood behind his products and would go above and beyond to make sure my pest problem was solved to my satisfaction. I've had no problems so far but it's comforting to know that others who have contacted him have had their issues addressed in a prompt and satisfactory manner. Cons: * Price. Yes, this is one of the pricier units and I hesitated before purchasing it knowing I could get sonic repellents at Home Depot for less than half the price of this one. However, the fact that this unit is corded makes a HUGE difference to me since I understand how sound waves travel from working at a company that produces sound mitigation products. The fact that the unit can be directly on my hardwood floor means the sound waves travel unobstructed on the ground which is where rodents generally travel. units that plug directly into the wall sit about 12-18 inches off the floor and are often blocked by beds, chairs, etc. soft surfaces absorb sound waves which is not what you want for maximum efficiency. * Sound. Yes, I can hear the unit. I have very good hearing, especially in higher frequencies. I can hear fluorescent light bulbs and other things that most people don't notice. I also have misophonia which means that some sounds literally make me feel like I'm going crazy. To me, the occasional sounds I hear sound like when you don't have your soda bottle cap screwed on all the way and the pressure from the carbonation is escaping occasionally from the leak. The first day or so I kept looking to see if I had a drink in the room that I needed to tighten the lid on. I was worried it was going to bother me but since the sound is emitted irregularly (and this is good for rodent repelling) my mind can't make a pattern out of it and it eventually has begun to fade into the background noise. This was possibly my biggest concern about the unit and I've been pleasantly surprised to find that it's really not that big of a deal. I do hear it, but it doesn't bother me that much - as in less than dripping faucets or ticking clocks or fluorescent bulbs. Certainly a fair trade off for the peace of mind that the creature is moving out of my space Will update after a couple of weeks and may upgrade to 5 stars but for now it's a solid 4 of 5 and I would advise someone to purchase this product from this seller.

I have mice. If there's one thing you want when you have mice, it's to not have them any more. I tried a number of things before this: Baits, traps, smelly things like mothballs (BTW - mothballs are toxic as hell, so be careful with them). Baits and traps worked for a while, but after a couple of months, I had dozens of traps around the house, and the mice seemed to be wise to all of them. I tried another one of the relatively expensive noisemaker products; didn't get anywhere. Their customer service was wonderful, said I needed more power, and sent two more devices. At this point, I have dozens of traps and three noise gadgets in my 1200-ft house, and I still have mice. So, I thought, give this one more try and get this supposedly better (and, in some reviews, this device along with the one I already have worked wonders) gadget. At this point, I have two of the other noisemakers and this one in open areas of my basement. (The third one of the other brand was in my kitchen, as recommended by the other company.) Bad news - the mice were pretty much camping out right in front of the new noisemaker. So... I contacted TMC. They offered another device, which I accepted. Problem is, it took long enough to get the second one that I'd had it and called an exterminator. The exterminator said that there were some openings near the roof line that have to be closed up. They can't do that until it's warm enough to safely get up there on ladders, so I'm kinda stuck for the next month. The exterminator put some more heavy-duty baits and traps around; we'll see what happens with that. Since the exterminator's been here, I now have two TMC devices and one of the other brand in my fairly small basement, and two of the other brand upstairs. A couple nights ago, I saw a mouse scooting across my kitchen floor; that persuaded me to put bait bags between the appliances and the walls. The bait bags have been disturbed, so there may be an ex-mouse somewhere in my walls. (Another warning - make sure, if you're using bait bags, that they're out of reach of the pets. I made very sure that my dog wasn't going to be chowing down on those bait bags.) I think it's safe to say that, at least for me, these gadgets don't work. The customer service from both companies is great, and I can't fault them for trying, but I think we've gotten as far as we're going to with these.

Pack rats are a true curse in S. Arizona. In recent months some invaded the space below my home. Since I will not use rat poison due to its 'secondary kill' problem that often kills also pets and other animals that either eat the pellets or the pests that ate them, I had tried various other things including electronic pest control devises. None of those had worked before, but this T3-R Triple High Impact devise has worked like a charm. I put the T3-R under the house in the crawl space area. For many months, I heard frequent, nightly gnawing on the beams below my floors in various parts of the 1800 sq-ft home. After installing the T3-R unit under the house, from night 1, there were no more gnawing sounds. Since, possibly 3 times, I have heard gnawing and usually it stops within minutes and does not return. I guess, that a rodent invaded the crawl space but once the unit changed transmission frequency/pitch, the rodent left. I have since looked more into this and am convinced that any electronic devise made to deter insects and rodents MUST have this alternating pitch feature so that the pests can not get used to it. The T3-R also transmit into 3 different directions at irregular intervals which is another reason this really works. (The picture shown here is NOT the actual look of the product. The T3-R which I bought is a roundish looking unit with 3 different 'sound transmitters' facing in 3 different directions. Search for picture on line.) Added 4-15-15: Sorry, the devise has 2 (two) directional transmitters - as you see in this picture. I couldn't remember as the devise is under my home and I have not looked at it in months. I still say that it works wonderfully. Had it for about 7 months and still no pack rat return under my home. Anyone concerned about poisoning the environment and likes to keep family, pets and other critters safe, here is a great product that discourages pests from invading your space or sends them out in a hurry.
