Fisher-Price Thomas Railroad Rewards Potty, Thomas The Train

The media could not be loaded. Just received this today and I'm excited! My 2 year old son LOVES Thomas and is very motivated by sound/songs so hopefully this will be the perfect addition to make our potty training fun! The Thomas potty came right out of the box and installing the 1 AA battery was quick and simple. The potty is so cute and seems well-made; smooth/seamless features means it will be easy to clean, and the red seat can be used on regular toilet with the base as step-stool.We had gotten the First Years Hero in Training 2-in-1 potty chair but the soft foam ring with pee guard was so flimsy and would not stay on the seat when my son tried to sit on it; I wasn't going to bother with that and don't want pee all over the floor! (Will see how this one deals with peeing... other reviews say not so well but the Thomas seat fits into/over bowl so not sure how pee leaks out?) We ended up giving the First Years potty to my same-age niece. My son also had difficulty lifting the seat (as he wanted to see the bowl) and I could just imagine over time he would break it... the Thomas Potty seat lifts off easily, which could be a different sort of problem... but one that seems unavoidable with curious children.So far worth it for any Thomas fan!****Update: one plus years later this potty is still great; sturdy, easily cleaned, and no problem with sounds (although at times it will randomly toot/sing-- possibly related to floor vibration?). Just wish we were done with potty training! This makes a great step stool so will be useful after potty part isn't needed/desired (big potty preferred more now to mimic mom/dad).

What's there to say... this works great and my son now loves to go 'potty.'Whenever it's time for my son to go to the restroom, he literally runs to the restroom because he can't wait to make Thomas toot his horn. This is an easy system to keep clean and since we have it placed right next to the bathtub, we simply wash it out each time my son uses it.We've found the sound mechanism to work almost flawlessly... there have been just a couple times when Thomas didn't toot his horn after my son going to the restroom, but overall, it has worked perfectly.A few other reviewers have mentioned that there is a gap between the red 'seat' portion and the blue bottom, which results in urine going between, thus getting all over the floor. We honestly haven't had that issue, but we are very adamant with our son that he has to keep his private part 'tucked' in and pointed down. This ensures that the urine stays in the bowl and doesn't get everywhere.All in all, we have been very pleased with this purchase and it has been quite helpful in getting my son potty-trained. We would definitely recommend and buy again. We just had a daughter born a few weeks ago, and we will be using this system for her as well.If my review was helpful, please let me know below. When I started potty training my son this past March, I knew I needed something that will excite him to actually go in the potty. Other potties light up and have a sound-making flusher, but those are distracting and reward the kid without them having to go pee or poo! I love this potty because my son hears the sound of Thomas only when he goes on the potty! When he first started to use it, he would get so excited and say "Thomas sings!" He likes the praise "from Thomas" when he goes. The potty is also very versatile. It is a step stool, stand-alone potty AND the red potty lid can be put on the big potty! Worth every penny! The design is also fun, with train wheels on the side and buffers on the front. The white potty insert is easily removed to dump the contents and wash. The pee guard on the front is nice and tall. I also like the handles on the side of the potty seat. My son is now three and he still loves using it every day (we just use it for poo poo now). If your child like Thomas, this potty is for you!

Such an adorable potty and what a cute idea to have a song play when your child goes potty. However, they seriously need to come up with a better design. The pee leaks two ways. Because the bowl is under the seat part, there is a gap and so when your child pees it splashes up and there's a little leakage between the seat and the bowl, and that's when he sits properly. If, like most kids your child is curious and wants to look with his legs open, his pee pee will point more towards the top of the splash guard and most of the pee will come over the seat. If you look at other potties you'll notice the seat goes first then the bowl goes on top, so no gaps anywhere. I love the idea of this potty and my son actually likes using it, but the leakage is a serious issue. I would expect a better design having paid $20+ for it. Another gripe is how low the whistle blows! Some Fisher Price toys are so loud! But the volume on this is very low. Despite the issues, our son took to it immediately. He was so excited to use it, he went back-to-back the first time! The other potty we have (Summer Infant Lil Loo) doesn't have leakage issues, but seems very uncomfortable for him. He always tried to push himself back or hold himself up because the hole size was a bit larger. So this one is definitely better on the seat part. We are currently trying to troubleshoot the problem (lol), to come up with a solution. If any is a success, we will update this review.

Trop bien ! La musique du pti train quand la commission est faite est super ludique pour les enfants . Ils en font un jeu d’aller au pot juste pour entendre la musique . Il fait réducteur de toilette et marche pied aussi donc niquel

This potty has been amazing for us so far. My son loves Thomas & it has made a big difference in him wanting to use the little potty! We actually haven’t tried the songs/train noises yet because he’s doing so well without them, but we did listen to them & they’re very cool. I could see it making a difference in a child who doesn’t want to use the potty. We may actually buy another for my MIL’s house. Very sturdy, doesn’t tip over, & very easy to empty & clean! Highly recommend.

Damit ging das Trocken werden des Kleinen ganz einfach. Ein Lokomotivgeräusch wird ausgelöst, sobald etwas im Töpfchen ist. das macht auch den Kinder Spaß und zeigt den Erfolg. Das Töpfchen funktioniert einwandfrei und ist einfach zu reinigen.Dazu sieht es auch noch niedlich aus.

A mi hijo le encanto porque reproduce música cada que lo usa y es como un incentivo. Lo super recomiendo.
