Carbon Casting Fishing Rod

The rod arrived in a rectangle cardboard tube that was a bit beat up, but the rod was fine, undamaged. Being made from 100% carbon fiber, when I picked up the box it felt like it was empty. It weighs very little. There is a difference between it and my other Ugky Stik casting rods. The reel seat on this one is about 6 inches closer to the butt than my others. The entire rod is still 7 feet like my others, but it feels like I have six inches of the handle missing! This will take some getting used to!

Very nice fast action rod at a good price. Nice and light with good power.

Best fishing rod ever

I love this rod it is sensitive and has enough backbone to stand up with some good size fish definitely would recommend. I paired it with a lews tournament series baitcaster

Extremely light but sturdy, even for it being the 2pc medium 6'6". Sadly haven't had a chance to christen it yet. Been really hot and the bite has been poor. But from the use I've gotten so far, I'm very satisfied. My only complaint has mor to do with how it was shipped to me. The box it came in could have help a adult sized bike. The rode wasn't protected at all so it bounced around with no protection. So a couple chips of paint have come off. Hoping it doesn't compromise the rod. I would suggest that next time a smaller box or cardboard tube be used along with protective wrapping when shipping.

Used this rod with a baitcaster with 20 lb line and was very surprised how far it could be used to send a lure with a snap of the wrist. Love the action,and strength of the 6'6 two piece rod. Great action,and lure launch capacity.Use similar rod on BFS,but this one is for heavier baits and not for BFS. The look,feel,and yields confidence. My first Ugly stick experience is excellent.

This pole is a beast. Handled a 4 pounder like nothing

My wife purchased this for me for Christmas I picked it out , used it for the first time this past Saturday after months of anticipation of all the fish I would catch . Went out with my friend Saturday afternoon 7/6/2024 . Tied on a jig , dropped to the bottom attempted to jig and the rod broke off appr 8 inches, from tip to second eye . Amazed and disappointed with this obviously defective rod blank and I'm past the return period. I'm hoping to hear from ugly stick for a replacement on this defective item .
