Glorious XL Heavy Gaming Mouse Mat/Pad - Stealth Edition - Extra 5mm Thick, Stitched Edges, Black Cloth Mousepad | 16"x18" (G-HXL-Stealth)

I have the XL Heavy variant. It's a good size 450x400mm- what's unofficially become the standard for many "gaming" mousepads. It has a soft, squishy base; it's noticeably "squishier" than something like a QCK Heavy (even worn over years) or a Zowie G-SR-SE. This is done well though, and I prefer it to firmer bases. It provides a good amount of support and wrist comfort, and a bit of control. If you have a heavy-handed palm grip, you may notice a bit of extra drag as your mouse could "sink" into the pad. I use a lighter, fingertip grip with an FK1, and the result is perfect for me. The surface is noticeably slower than the Heavy Slim or Large models. The surface has a texture to it but doesn't feel rough due to the softness of the threads used. It's subjective, but I prefer this more "cloth" feeling rather than smoother "satin". There's a bit more feedback to mouse movements and a greater feeling of control. The stitched edges are soft and comfortable. They aren't the softest or most comfortable, but they don't irritate my arm at all even with low sens/large quick arm movements for longer gaming sessions. The stitches seem quite even, and there's no visible fraying or irregularities. It's very much a control pad but doesn't feel swampy at all. There's a good balance between static and kinetic friction, relative to each other. Kinetic friction feels a bit higher than most pads, but static friction is such that micro adjustments are still surprisingly easy. I primarily play CSGO with medium-low sens (1.0 @ 800 DPI), and this pad is great for steadying long shots, holding close angles, and quick flicks. After trying one mousepad after another for the last ~10 years, this is going to be my new main for the foreseeable future.

This product is very clean, good, thick,good quality, good size, comfortable,and one bad thing is that it doesn’t want to lay flat on my desk.

Using it as I type this. Glorious never disappoints and the quality is excellent. even wipes dirt and stains clean with just a wet rag.

Perfect size (18x16) glides very good, feels good on my wrist while moving my mouse, only complaints is it doesn't grip that well to my desk. (going to just use a little tape) also takes a while to get fully flush because it comes rolled up.

Mousedpad feels very good, size is also good for a mouse only

Da appassionato di sparatutto ed apprezzando la superficie ruvida del tappetino devo dire che questo Stealth è spettacolare. -Qualità dei materiali e fattura- Sono molto attento ma devo dire che nelle uniche volte in cui son capitati due "incidenti" è stato molto facile da pulire. Per la precisione caduta della maionese ed un po di succo di frutta ma entrambe le volte son riuscito a pulirlo senza grossi problemi. In generale molto comodo e fluido, a contatto con la pelle seppur sudata non lascia segni o altro. -Prestazione- Lato prestazioni che è la cosa più importante utilizzerei il termine "eccellente", qualità di alto livello. Che si cerchi la precisione assoluta o la velocità di movimento devo dire che si comporta benissimo. Ovviamente dipende anche dal sensore del mouse che si utilizza e dal feeling che si cerca, nel mio caso il mouse è un Glorius Model I e mi trovo benissimo. Tappetino promosso a pieni voti.

Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die 5mm Höhe vom Mauspad. Glorious war hier sehr großzügig und hat es auch sehr gleichmäßig umgesetzt. Zusätzlich habe gibt es auch ein wenig nach, da es etwas weicher ist. Dies war auch so gewünscht und ist sehr gut abgestimmt. Die Oberfläche bietet eine super ordentliche Präzision und bekommt ebenfalls volle Punktzahl. Nun mein Kritikpunkt am Pad. Auch wenn in anderen Rezensionen das Stoffgefühl als hervorragend und sehr angenehm beschrieben, kann ich das für mich so nicht weitergeben. Ich mag das Gleitgefühl nicht bis absolut nicht. Es ist schwer zu beschreiben. Ein wenig ähnlich wie Softshell. Fazit: Wenn ich morgens das Pad sehe, denke ich oje nicht schon wieder das Pad und dieses komische Gefühl. Sobald man aber mit dem Arbeiten anfängt freut man sich über die sehr gute Performance, Dicke und Weichheit. Eins noch: Das Pad habe ich zum Arbeiten bestellt. Zum Spielen habe ich es auch probiert, jedoch mit mäßiger Zufriedenheit. Das Einsinken der Maus war für mich entweder zu ungewohnt oder einfach ungeeignet. Auch wenn wenn man nur wenig einsinkt, war es zum Spielen für mich eher störend. Da das Feature beim Arbeiten aber gewünscht war und Glorious das auch sehr gut umgesetzt hat, bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. Auf Dauer werde ich mich trotzdem nach einer Alternative umschauen, wegen dem Stoffgefühl.
