Looks Good Until You Use It
The product out of the box looked good and makes you think it is good quality. I used it immediately to make prawn ravioli. When rolling, the tray rocked which made me notice that a rubber foot was missing. Then I noticed that when rolling the cutters on the surface were not cutting the pasta evenly. The outer cutter is higher than the inner cutters meaning that the tray is mis-shaped, or warped.I have the round version on order and hope that is better when it arrived (was out of stock at the time), but both are destined for the bin if that does not work either.

Master Feng Ravioli Maker
Arrived in a branded box and was surprisingly heavy. On opening I found 2 pieces, the tray itself and a nice wooden rolling pin.The tray is solid metal with rubber feet. It looks to be very good quality. This one makes 12 round ravioli. There are no instructions or recipes included so I had to do a little research. So what I found out is that this is known as a 'ravioli plate' so if you're looking for recipes and information, that's what you need to search for as there are various types of ravioli tools available. So step one is to make sure the top of the plate is oiled or floured as the finished ravioli may vacuum-seal themselves in and be difficult to pop out. The tutorial I watched used olive oil.Roll out pasta dough to twice the length of the tray. Drape one end over the plate. Now this is where there could be another tool apparently - an object like a 'reverse profile tray' to gently push and stretch the dough into the holes, but there isn't so I presume this bit needs to be done by hand if the dough doesn't follow the shape of mold by itself. Then use wetted fingers to dampen along where the seams will be to help seal the pasta parcels. As they are not very deep ravioli, this type of tool is best for smooth rather than chunky fillings I learned. So you pop in a small spoonful of filling in each ravioli, don't over-fill, drape the rest of the dough over the top and roll over it firmly with the supplied rolling pin. (which is a very nice little tool by itself and will be used for other things too.)The excess dough should fall away and reveal 12 perfectly round ravioli. In theory, you should now be able to easily un-mold them onto a lightly floured surface. They should now be dried out for a while before cooking in boiling water.Hopefully they don't generate a heap of steam and explode. So now I know how to do it I will report back when I've had a go!I really want this to work as I love pasta and also love Asian dumplings which in theory this would be good for too.I have given 5 stars for quality. I did think about marking down a star for not including any instructions or recipes, but as long as it works OK I will leave the 5 star rating.

Not worth buying at all
Its sold product, however, the dough gets stuck there and noway its easy to remove and I ended up with many parts stuck at the item which created a mess. It looks good and sold , but not practical at all. The ads is misleading.

(12 Round Shape) Very easy to use.
During lock-down I've finally gotten 'round to getting back into pasta making. Had never really gotten the hang of making handmade ravioli, perogies or pot-stickers though. So thought I'd give this gadget a whirl, especially at the low price it was going for.Came very quickly after ordering, in a sturdy box. Inside was the ravioli mould and a nice narrow rolling pin, narrow rolling pins are much better when forming the likes of dumpling skins. The mould itself is nice and sturdy and can make 12 small round ravioli at a time.Gave it a quick wash and dry and made up some fresh pasta dough then left it to rest while I decided on fillings. As it was the first time using and the moulds are fairly small I decided to keep it simple, went for a ricotta and roasted beetroot. Put the pasta dough through my pasta machine to get it nice and thin, laid the first sheet down and patted it into place. Placed in the fillings and put the top sheet on, being careful not to get any air bubbles in there. The mould has zig-zag lines between the sections, so a quick couple of firm rolls with the included rolling pin cut the little bundles of taste into their individual portions. While they were air drying the mould was given a clean down which took no time at all. Once the ravioli was boiled and sauced I was happy to see none had opened and I sat down to a very nice meal.Since then I've made all sorts of fillings for ravioli, pot-stickers and perogies. All have worked out really well, have made so many that I've been freezing to use at a later date and to give to friends who like my cooking.Very happy with the mould, has made a fiddly job a pleasure and it gives me a lot of satisfaction every-time I use it or eat what I've made with it.
