It really helps with my lower back pain. And a piece of advice, take the notice to not rest there longer than 5 min. I had a sharp pain in my lower back for taking too long on it.

Works well, family loves. Need muscle to adjust the angle for some of the slots.

I decided to go with a cheaper version to stretch my lower back and see if it helped before potentially getting a better one. I've had lower back issues for several years. Physical therapy didn't help, the chiropractor did stop the spasems but not the discomfort and I accept that this is life now, however, i didn't want to go to the chiropractor for the rest of my life (I went for two years). I ordered this to help take the edge off the morning tightness before going to work and looking at the pictures in the description, I wanted to arch my back like the woman in the ad. It looked wonderful. What a relief that would be! Alas, it's surprising impossible for me. I put it on max arch and it was like trying to bend a 2 by 4. Not happening. Went to lowest setting, I'm still a board. I have no flex and I don't understand but that being said, It Worked because the relief of getting off the thing is sublime. Idk how anyone can lay on these things for 20 minutes. I can't lay on it for longer than 5, and that's struggling to relax and feeling all my core muscles trying to prevent my body from flowing with the form. Even my abs are pulling against it, but it does help. Maybe someday I will be able to drape over the lowest setting, dream of the highest, and accept the fact that if my back bends that far it's probably broken.

I didn’t like how hard it is to move it up a level. It was like dealing with plastic chairs and pinching fingers. The strip it comes with is a very cheap thin steel foam and doesn’t support the spine. The plastic is so tight with the holding that it turns white and chips. Not worth the money you’re better off wedging two wood pieces together and a dam formation and just lay on it it would probably be easier

This product has had great media exposure so my expectations where higher than normal for the relief and comfort it would provide. I am a 6ft 235lb male and have numerous nerve and muscle issues from a previous accident and I purchased this device for relief of tension in my lower back. Upon my first use, this device failed to provide the support needed to even execute and stretching as it collapsed on itself when I laid my back on it on every tension setting it jist collapsed and more so on lowest setting jumped back up and popped me in the back. I feel this device may help individuals with mild back issues or symptoms of muscle pain also having a lighter body makeup may help as well but for me it didn't provide any relief or support so I do not recommend this item.

I bought before reading all the negative reviews about this product cracking after use. I have used mine for several days. First on lower level, this morning I am on the second level. Works wonderfully, (knock on wood)!!! Love the stretch, I stay on it about 10 minutes. Packaged in box, in a box. So well protected. No problems putting in blue soft foam strip. Stays in, you just need to pull tight on both ends to get it tight. I have noticed people who have it loose. Probably why it comes out. Very happy with this back stretcher, Thank you

It's a bit painful to use, didn't really help relax my spine

WOW!!!! This product is AMAZING!!! The beginning of this year I started to have sciatica. I had it years ago but it subsided after 3 weeks. This time the pain level escalated to unbearable chronic pain for 6+ weeks. I could notice some nerve damage starting. I couldn’t sit the whole time. To eat meals I’d have to take a bite and keep walking to distract me from the pain. I worked from bed as we have an inclining bed. I tried everything from CBD gels, naproxen, muscle relaxants, heat pad, cold packs, the McKenzie Method stretches, Dr. Ho TENS unit, ultrasound machine, walking, and the inversion table. I couldn’t go to any specialists because I couldn’t sit due to the pain. It was unbearable. I finally couldn’t take the pain anymore and was driven to emergency. I had to lay down in the truck and since I couldn’t sit I had to walk around the waiting room sobbing in pain for 2 hours. I had a CT scan where it was confirmed I had 2 herniated discs but one was quite large and was pushing on my nerves. The physician called a neurologist at another hospital and hour away who said they would fit me in for an MRI. Off we went for that excruciating drive with me laying down again in the truck. When I got there, I wasn’t seen right away. It was another hour and a half of walking around the waiting room. I finally had my MRI which confirmed the CT scan results. The neurologist said I needed a microdiscectomy. 2 days later on April 5, I had surgery and was immediately pain free. Fast forward to August where I got a bad cold and was nonstop violently coughing at night for weeks on end. It strained my back and the herniated disc started to flare up. The sciatica was starting again. I resorted back to the self care routine, and last week went for massage. I’ll go weekly for maintenance. I ordered this back stretcher and it arrived last Thursday. I’ve been using it twice daily for 10 minutes each on the first level. Ohhhh wow, this device is small but mighty. I’ve gotten a few good cracks out of my spine and it feels AWESOME. Such a good release and it oddly boosts my mood. The sciatica has now subsided and today is the first day I have absolutely zero discomfort. I will continue to use this as a part of my routine to maintain good spine health.

Definitely helped with my back pain but it is expensive for what it is

Bought 2 of these, gifted 1 to my friend. She only opened her parcel a few weeks after it was delivered to her home, as she was at her parents house taking care of them. Unfortunately, her item was broken. Despite the long time lapse I tried writing to the seller with pictures, and they very kindly acknowledged my issue, and are generously going to replace the broken item. I'm anticipating the delivery so I can finally gift a good product to my friend. I myself really love it and use it for about 10 minutes every other night. It helps to "open up" my back, especially after the whole day sitting in front of a computer with a hunched posture.
