Exactly as described. Great price.
Perfect for on the go. Gets ice cold like they should. I use them for injury at baseball with my youngest. Lasts for a decent amount of time. Works well.

its a must in every house that loves practice sports
It's good to have in case you get injured. Also, if you travel to very hot places, you can help lower your temperature with this. I always keep it at home just in case.

Some quick first aid on hand for those misc sports bumps and bruises.
Great value for these instant cold packs - they work well enough to help alleviate some pain from sports collisions. A great way to equip your first aid bag as a parent or coach - or just to have handy.

They are perfectly adequate
These are fine. They work immediately upon breaking/mixing and last about 20-30 minutes. They are not very cold but do their job.I bought them to put in my response kit for when I have attacks/flare-ups related to some disorders/disabilities that I live with for times when I’m out of my house and have an issue, so they are not something I use regularly.I could see that they would work well for kids who fell down or as a temporary thing but I think if you are looking for cold enough to really bring swelling down you might need a bit more. Good for a small boo-boo or ok for those of us with Mast Cell Attacks, Migraines, etc. for a temporary solution.

A Life Saver When You Need Them
Can I just say that these were a life saver on a couple of occasions. I ended up ordering two boxes of the McKesson Cold Compresses when I broke my ankle. Not only did they work on helping with the pain of a swollen, post surgery ankle, the convenience of having them within reach (and not having to hobble into another room, get ice from the freezer and pack it into an ice pack---all while balancing on one leg and a crutch) was immeasurable. These cold compresses came to the rescue again a second time when my daughter dislocated her kneecap---not only could she use these at home but was able to take them to school to use during the day without having to leave class for ice--no muss, no fuss.

Instand Cold - Not so Cold!
I had intended to take some of these packets on my trip overseas to help alleviate pain in my right hip. However, after activating the one packet it never got cold enough - in fact, it was just warm. I will try another packet tomorrow morning after it has been sitting in an air conditioned house - am disappointed because now I may have to come up with another plan to help alleviate hip pain while on my tour.

Good idea
Working as advertised. Keeping them nearby on hot days after experiencing heat exhaustion. Watch the signs and act before you collapse. Lesson learned

They are so so.
I recently had double knee surgery and needed to ice the more recent one when we took a long weekend. We were staying at a B&B and obtaining ice or a freezer to freeze the ice packs from therapy. Thought these would do the trick. Ehh. Compared to a regular ice pack, they are not as cold. They say to wrap the pack before applying to the affected area. Personally I couldn't feel much of the coldness. They last about 30 minutes. In a pinch I guess they do. Better than nothing.
