These mats are well made and durable. They link together really well. They do a great job at protecting the floors. The cushion is just right. Brand new there was barely any smell of any. I have my entire weight set and squat rack on these mats for years and they bounce back very well.

Liked it so much that I bought it again. Love the checkerboard styling, and it’s exactly what I want for my home gym. I’ve already done some light deadlifting, and I feel like it will be just fine. To be fair, mine is going over a thin rug that already covers the basement floor which adds a little more protection. My only complaint (and it’s not a serious one) is that this may be a little bit thinner than other similarly priced floor products. The mats themselves are very well cut and the colors are as advertised. No defects there. It’s literally like a jigsaw puzzle and you can swap edge strips depending on if you’re creating a corner vs a straight edge piece. It took me a minute to figure out how to configure those corners (the trick is to use the correct edge strip on the adjacent piece). Overall, it’s a great value. Prior to this I paid $88 for a different product, same square footage, that I like about half as much as this one. You can see that one in the last photo. Like I said, VERY HAPPY with this one.

The layout is easy to setup and looks nice too. I was initially using this mat for lifting and cardio and I have my dumbbells on the mat (they make small indentions, but not enough to damage it). For lifting, it's a perfect mat, but for cardio, not so much. The first time I tried to do the cardio workout from T25 Beta, it started to come apart. I suppose you could duct tape the bottom of the mat to keep it from doing that, but by itself, the foam "connections" between the tiles are just too weak to handle shuffling feet. Definitely worth the purchase for anything non-cardio, though.

I covered my whole garage with this before reading the reviews, and started parking our cars on it. Actually it stands up to cars quite alright. If a car sits too long on this surface it will leave an imprint that looks permanent. However, all these imprints seem to go away after a few days of not parking your car on it. Ended up ordering a few squares of matching plastic garage tiles to put where the wheels are, and happy to leave the rest covered with these tiles. When working out these are great, soft and comfortable, easy to clean, and look fantastic. Greatly reduces noise when deadlifting or otherwise having weights touch the floor. Got lots of compliments from neighbors and friends, without breaking the bank.

Amazing or Terrible product based on your needs. I ordered 48 tiles as the most affordable option to cover 150+ sqft. Aesthetically, 5 stars (at first). Also very functional underneath treadmill/something permanent like a squat rack. But after 2 days, noticing impressions/ dents wherever something 10+ pounds was. I wanted to move my workout bench seat within a 2 foot radius, but the dent/impressions look awful. My EZ bar with 25lbs also left dents. And the product has ZERO grip. You might not think this is a problem (i wasn’t planning on doing burpees) but even bench pressing, my feet don’t feel planted & i miss the concrete. Overall, the floor looks great (see pic) esp under areas i won’t walk on, corners, or under the treadmill. But it’s slippery, getting worn after 1 week, and will probably look beat down soon. It was prob tear when i “place” a heavy dumbbell on it. I had no choice because i was on a budget covering 150+ sqft. If it’s for a treadmill, bike, bowflex, get it. If you wanted versatility on these mats.... reread this :/

This flooring arrive quick and was higher quality than we expected. It was super easy to customize for our oddly shaped lanai gym. Installation took about 30 minutes tops and after 3 months they are holding up strong in high humidity, high heat, and almost a daily rain environment. We also have 2 very active dogs and their nails don’t cause any damage to the tiles. I did accidentally slam a 25lb Barbell weight on one and it made a tiny cut but it was hardly visible and hasn’t caused any damage to the function of the impacted tile. The nice thing about these, but an extra pack and you can change out one tile if damage does occur.
