Poor and incorrect instructions
2 HUGE problems with this. The instructions that come with this roof rack are strictly pictures. ZERO written instructions. Secondly, the instructions say to use 45 lbs of torque and this is WAY too much torque. Using this much torque caused the plastic on the mounting bracket to bend, causing the bolts to go too deep and hit a piece of metal in the roof, back out the bolts and strip the grommet rivet things through the sheet metal, leaving large holes in the roof. I had to JB weld them to the roof for 2 of the bolts, which luckily is strong enough to hold it plenty secure. But don’t make the mistake in the first place. Get it really tight with a normal socket wrench and don’t over tighten. Terrible design/instructions for an actual Mopar part

Great addition to my car
Great addition to my car. Like a previous comment stated, it doesn't come with silicone to waterproof it. Had someone install it & it took about an hour. Was very strudy. Only thing I noticed after our trip is that the covers(?, i guess the parts covering the bolts on the ends) were kind of shaky & I don't know that's what was causing noise when I reached high speeds. I did use rachet straps & a weatherproof cargo bag so who knows. But I will see about getting those parts more secured down so they don't pop off. In all, I am happy with this purchase.

Good Product but Poor Directions - Comes with Risk
This product has a Mopar part # and is identical or virtually identical to what you would get if you chose this option when buying the vehicle new. That being the case it involves drilling holes through the first layer of sheet metal on the roof. The rack is anchored with the use of expanding insert type nuts using the provided tool and a torque wrench. The result is something like a riveted in nut. The instructions reminded me of Ikea furniture - good illustrations but almost no words. Using torque values alone to install these expanding anchors or nuts is insufficient. Torqueing down to the specified 65 in-lbs the nuts did not anchor. The problem is that a slightly higher torque was necessary but then one could tighten and tighten and tighten until you damage the roof. The force necessary to expand or crush the nut does not change appreciably as you tighten. A much better direction would be to specify how many rotations are necessary after a certain torque is reached. That way you could be assured that you have deformed the anchor sufficiently to prevent it from pulling out, but not so much as to damage the roof. In short this seems to be an excellent product that needs more thorough and better instructions. Also it would be nice if the kit included the sealant that's necessary to prevent water from getting inside the roof from the drilled holes.

Buen producto pero incompleto
Las barras llegaron bien pero los tornillos y empaques de instalación incompletos, toco comprarlos por aparte.
