Blue Green Agave Organic Nectar, Light Blue, 16 Ounce

I use Blue Agave nectar in my coffee, in my iced tea, and hot tea also. I have been buying it in the grocery stores where the price can fluctuate from affordable to "are you kidding me?". When I saw it on Amazon while I was putting a pantry order together, I was surprised at the price, and read all the fine print trying to find the "catch". But there wasn't one! As soon as it arrived, I tried it, convinced there would be something wrong with this, after all, it was inexpensive. But no, I have a cup of coffee in front of me right now, sweetened with Blue Agave Nectar, and I'm oh so very pleased with the taste.

I like the light flavor of the lighter color agave nectar. I like that this brand was very flavorful but yet very affordable. It's also nice how it breaks down and hot or cold liquid.

Love this product on my oatmeal.Compared to honey, it has a thinner behavior but I have not found that to be a turn off.

It was great In taste

i like agave for sweetness --low glycemic index. this brand and trader joes do NOT leave a funny taste in coffee. Also good in rice pudding recipes. my doctor really convinced me that artificial sweeteners aren't good for you AND make you gain weight, and this seems like a good substitute

I'd originally purchased this as it was an ingredient in a fresh margarita recipe. Since then, I've used it in a variety of things, it adds a wonderful flavor along with the sweetness, similar to honey but "softer." This has become a must-have pantry item in my home, right next to my local honey. It is quite a bit thinner than honey, but has the same level of sweetness.

It tastes artificial

The agava is not like other swetners. It's a little thiner and leaves no taste in your mouth. Great for tea-no covering up the taste.
