The box feels a bit flimsy but the poison blocks are working
Set this up and left it for two weeks, checked the blocks inside and they had all been nibbled hence the reduction in the rat population I had noted. The box feels light and flimsy to the touch but is actually quite strong enough for the job and easy to put in the bait blocks (wearing disposable gloves of course) I hid the box in the rat run along the back fence where a shrub masks the box so any rat isn't disturbed while investigating. I know I will never get rid of the rats solely with a bait box but it is a great addition to my other method of control.

Finally the rat has started eating the bait.
I was sick of hearing the rats in the kitchen. This summer they found my garden and ate all of my veggies, then they moved into the gap between the bricks. I could not get to any of them, and neither could my cat. He finally managed to kill two of the little so and so's that have been into as much as they could in the kitchen. It took about 3 weeks for the rats to take the rat poison block from the trap. Now, I will have to make sure that my cat leaves the rats alone because I would be devastated if he was poisoned by accident. Do get one of these if the little nasties invade your home. I think that they will die in their nest. Oh dear....
