Q: Will this light work with an ikea night stand lamp? is it bright enough to change diapers with?

I don't know about the IKEA night stand lamp, but it is bright enough to change diapers with in most cases. I say in most cases because I've had to put on the ceiling light when my little had a blowout!

Hello, While the Nite-Nite Light Bulb is the perfect light to provide adequate care for the child, some of our customers feel the light emitted (close to a 40 watt bulb) is a bit too bright to leave on all night. HOWEVER, SCS will be launching a 3.5 watt version which will be perfect for a leave-on night light very soon. Stay tuned!
