I was switching from a large IKEA coffee table. I wanted to upgrade to something a little bit nicer, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an already assembled table made of nicer wood. This table is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be.The board doesn't feel like the cheap particle board you get from IKEA furniture. It seems better (though I don't know if it actually is). I bought the gray colored table and it also looks really nice. The table has heft to it and doesn't feel cheap. The riser portion also does a decent job as long as you're expecting a $100ish dollar table.Assembly was not terrible. Though they use those annoying IKEA like screws that are like dials. Because of this, I have some little gaps in the table (nothing major) but those screws are annoying. Also, the table does wobble if you don't pull it from the middle. Not a huge deal when you pay what you pay for the table. Lastly, this table is pretty difficult to assemble with one person. Once you start putting the brackets onto the table to get it to lift, it becomes incredibly hard.Overall the table is great. Way better than I thought. Assembly is a little difficult by yourself but not impossible. Would buy this again if on a budget.

Overall, I am very happy with this table. It arrived at my doorstep with the box corners crushed. I was a little worried about the wood being damaged but pleasantly surprised to find it well packaged.Instructions are a little tedious. You need to carefully lay out the pieces before assembly. It's great that each piece was properly labeled with the corresponding hardware.It takes 2 people to assemble the table and the hardest part for us was putting the metal hinges for the lift top. There are 8 wood screws to put in on each side so having a third person to hold the table top in place is best.After it was all assembled, the table looks fantastic and extremely functional. The extra storage underneath the lift top is great for storing things and hiding it out of the way.Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

I ordered this table becasue i liked the design of the lift topThe first one i received the screws damanged the table which was really disappointing so I reached out to the company which didn't have replacement parts. The table is 70lbs and i needed to pay shipping (60.00) to return itThey were very quick in their responses and in the end the company sent me a prepaid label to return the brokem one as soon as i returned the other table they shipped me a new one. Everything went together easily and I am loving my table seems very sturdy at a great price.I give the product and company a 5 star. With great customer service! Would buy again. One thing to realize when putting it together is your building upside down until you put on the very top table.

The media could not be loaded. Just FYI… I added the baskets we had from an old coffee table in the cubbies and they really add to the look! You could probably find some on Amazon or Home Goods that would fit. It came with all the parts and I put it together myself and just needed my husbands help to flip it over at certain points in the assembly and hold the top while I screwed it onto the base. I used a power screwdriver and used wood glue for added stability. It seems very sturdy and the top is kind of heavy and you definitely need to use two hands to lift. You want to pull both sides up evenly so it doesn’t wobble while it’s opening because I think over time the screws holding it on will pull out of the particle board if it does. I also wish they had included those stickers that match the finish to cover the exposed screws. They are visible in the cubbies if you don’t cover them with a basket (see video). I bought this because we wanted to change our dining area into a seating area in front of the fireplace in the winter months. Because it wouldn’t be out all year, I didn’t want to pay a ton or get anything so heavy we couldn’t carry it downstairs for storage in the summer and this works great! Looks good in the room but it’s obvious up close that it’s not real wood but a textured finish meant to look like wood but not a bad imitation. Nice grey color. Would recommend! It also makes a cozy place for a cat nap!

I love that I can store books etc on bottom shelf as well as having another built in storage space that is covered by the top piece functioning as a coffee table. Then I can lift the top up to use as a desk or even a table to eat on while watching television. I also love that it matches beautifully with my home decor.It was easy to put together, not too heavy to move around, and is very sturdy. Hubby and I would highly recommend this table. We saw it in my niece’s new home and could hardly wait to get home so we could order ours. BTW, MAY I SAY THE PRICING WAS PERFECT!

We ordered gray coffee table. It came faster than expected. The color is between gray and beige, which matches our two existing stands. It was easy to assemble, my daughter did it by herself. Easy to lift the top to serve the food or do computer work. It was good buy for the money and the quality.

Great coffee table, with storage. Looks great in my living room. East to put together.
