For the price it gets you a Dual Band Router
I have had this Router for some time now and have not had any real problems with it. It has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz which is nice for my phone and other devices. For the price of the router it has all the functions that I bought it for. It did have one update which was nice! Unless you need more speed or functions this is a great router.

Works as a Router Should.
This review is for the D-Link DIR-813 AC750 Wi-Fi RouterAs my family kept adding more and more wireless devices I became in need of a router that would give me further range and higher speeds. This model was able to provide both. This router provides Dual Band Performance - Up to 300Mbps (2.4GHz) + 433Mbps (5GHz). By having dual bands I'm able to select which devices log in to which band. I use the 2.4GHz for normal internet surfing and the 5GHz for my streaming devices. I have had no issues with being disconnected. My router is located in the center of my home so it does well reaching both sides.I'm the type who does a lot of review and comparison before making a purchase. If you found my review helpful please like it. Thanks!

Good router for the cost. poor 5Ghz range.
Great router for apartment or small house. I get almost the same speeds as if I was connected strait to my cable modem. the LAN ports are 100 MBps, so do not get this is your internet bandwidth is greater than 100 MBps. good range with the 2.4 Ghz wifi. the 5 Ghz wifi range is pretty poor and only good if closer to the router, that is why its not 5 stars. If you need 5Ghz for alot of devices dont get this. all my laptops only have 2.4 ghz, and my TV is hard wired. so i only really use the 5Gz on phones / tablets. overall good for the price.

This router is works ok for basic networking needs, thats it.
Can't beat it for the price. I was torn between this or a TP-Link router. Decided on D-Link since my current wifi camera is by them, plus previous dealings with their customer service and products. Set up was a breeze and used this to replace my slower Apple Airport router which only has N capability. This router is working great so far and at this price point for an AC750, can't be beat.Update: After a few months of use, The router is becoming a little wishy washy. It and my D-Link DAP-1520 require a lot of reboots in order to maintain connection. Ive got two D-Link network cameras running, one directly on the router, one on the extender. Both cut out often and need to be rebooted. The bottom line is the router gets the job done, and for the price, its a great option. Its a shame it doesn't have cloud or app support so it can be managed or adjusted from there. I ended up purchasing a TP-Link router and extender to see if that rectifies my needs.Update 2: After installing the TP-Link router, I'm getting speeds of 115 Mbps down (I pay for 101). On the D-Link, i was only getting 80-90. Also, my D-Link wifi cameras were always choppy and I needed to lower their resolution to get them to somewhat work well. On my new router, this isnt necessary. In fact, my new TP-Link routers 5Ghz network reaches all the way upstairs, so I don't even need the extender anymore. This D-Link router's 5Ghz couldnt reach upstairs at all.In the end, I regret purchasing this router. I can handle the basics for the price, but cannot handle a large wifi connected household and lacks the range.

STAY AWAY and AVOID like the plague!!!!!!!!!!!
Avoid this like the plague!!! I have been a D-link customers since they made wi-fi products. First off let me say that I work as a Network Support Specialist for the city of Philadelphia and have been working in computers for 23 years with the city and have my own computer consulting business and know my way around networks. I have been working in the computer field since I was in college back in the early 80's. I have own Dlink gear for a long time because Netgear and Linksys equipment never lasted long and never had configuration capabilities that D-link gear had. As a Geek I like to have many options to configure routers and all other Geek Gear. My last router was a D-link DIR-655 which still works A-OK but I now needed dual band 802.11ac. The older routers with no detachable nor directional antennas was never a good idea but now they at leased they seem to be bringing back detachable and directional antennas. I have 4 wireless Foscams that keep an eye on the house and email a pic anytime there is movement. I have two smarts TV's, 2 Blu-ray players, Two Roku3, 4 laptops, 4 tablets and a raspberry pi unit. All Wi-Fi devices and have had no problem with anything and can access my cameras from anywhere I have internet. I bought a DIR-813 hooked it up and have had no end of problems with wifi devices especially my cameras even when 2 feet from router. Setup virtual server and port forwarding just like I did on Dir-655. Worked for a few days then intermittent then nothing. Sent router back to Amazon for a replacement but things are even worst. Replacement Dir-813 gets time outs connecting to cameras, can not connect to them from internet. The Dir-813 is total crap probably only good as a switch. STAY AWAY and AVOID at all cost!!!!! Now I know why it is only $30. Sending second one back for refund. I checked out new Dlinks but did not like what I saw on the reviews especially the UI interface. After a lot of research I just ordered a ASUS Wi-Fi Router with Data Rates up to 1900 Mbps (RT-AC68W) for $172 on Amazon. It is a C-Net editors choice. Sending Dir-813 back as I doubt it would even be good as a Access Point. With this experience D-link lost me as a customer.
