Fun for all ages
I originally purchased picture puzzle books for my kids, but I am the one who ended up enjoying them the most. Life Magazine offers several of these picture puzzle books. This “Vacations!” picture puzzle book is the 5th in the series and features vacation pictures from all over the world. The book is divided into 4 sections of increasing difficulty: Novice, Master, Expert, and Genius. After those sections comes the Classics section, which consists of black and white puzzles created with photos from the Life archives. The answers are provided at the very back in case there are some differences you cannot find. I find these books to be a nice break from the usual electronics entertainment.

Not as much fun
I must say I did not enjoy this edition as much as I have the previous Picture Puzzle books. In many of the puzzles, the differences were so small or so subtle that they could not be seen with the naked eye. I like a challenging puzzle but I don't feel you should have to work it with a magnifying glass. Even after consulting the answers I felt some of the differences would have been impossible to decipher.

Life: Picture Puzzle Vacation
We have several of the Life:Picture Puzzle books. We enjoy them, find some very challenging. The only negative comment I would make is that some of the puzzles have a variance in the quality of the reprint...sometimes the color varies just enough to be frustrating, misleading. Other than that, we truly enjoy the books.

Harder than the others
Don't get me wrong, I love these books and am pretty good at even the hardest level, but I have to agree with the first reviewer. Even in "Novice" level, the changes were at least "Master" level, or higher. In all the past Life Pic Puzzle books Novice differences jumped out before you even took a good look, but the changes in this one were super SMALL.

Vacations
Almost as hard as the whodunit,at least I made it through most of the puzzles, even if I only did 80% of the final section.

Re: Life: Picture Puzzle Vacation
One doesn't have to be a child to enjoy this pic. puzzle book. I enjoy finding all the differences, in the second picture, in the book. Sometimes it is hard; it's a fun challenge.
