DUOMISHU Personal Air Conditioner Fan

I bought this product due to over heating at night. Like other reviews I would say its a powerful wee fan. I sleep 4 ft away from it and i still feel the benefits. However manufactures say it will last almost 8 hours I've found 4 or less and I'm in Scotland, not the warmest of places. Manufactures also speak about "sleep mode" I haven'found that only fan speed 1 2,3. Think the manufactures should look at sleep mode for the LED lights on top of the unit to completely black it out as there is a soft glow from it , even when u put the lights around the base off. I cannot comment on the fan noise as I have nothing to compare it with it is present butI have to say I can still manage to sleep with the fan out which is miraculous I'm a need silence and dark sleeper. I notice other fans had filyers this doesn't seem to and from the instruction i dont know how to take it apart to clean it. There is a picture of cleaning the base unit with a wee brush. I have just opened the unit emptied it and left it open every day to try and keep it mould free and sweet smelling. I would recommend this unit but feel it could be improved on but thats a personal opinion.

Bought it to save me from the heat in summer, as a design I think it is the cutest of its kind and it is also one of the few that is shipped from Amazon therefore without shipping costs and more practical for a possible return. I have been using it from the first day it was delivered to me and I put 5 well deserved stars, 3 powers but already at the first refresh, 2 hour or 4 hour timer (I set it overnight to sleep) and the option "water vapor jet "which gives an additional feeling of freshness, if you want you can also put ice in the water tank but I haven't tried it yet. There is also the variable color LED option. I highly recommend it, especially for those who don't have air conditioning in the house.

Odd that "warth" and "thickness" are both in the ratings when it's a mini air conditioner, but never mind about that.Last year I had one of those boxes, I found it was pretty good until i realised all the paper filter inside was black with mildew mould.This doesn't have that. There's very little that needs cleaning, that's my first impression.I didn't read the instructions because im a bloke, and we don't need instructions!So I filled the bottom with ice and water and ive left it in one of the rooms in my "oven" (flat) and close the window and door.If in 2 hours when I walk in there and the room is cool, I will come back and rave like an early 80s lunatic.But it's much better than the cubes. You can see a small stream of cold mist coming out.Hopefully it'll be able to handle that 1 room, because it's pointless buying a proper unit for the 2/3 weeks of summer a year we get.

I bought this for my girlfriend since even though it’s spring it’s quite hot and she’s getting some dryness nasally. The good thing about this personal air cooler is that you can add water to the tank to emit a fine mist to cool the area down and humidify the air. You can also adjust the color if you want as a nightlight and change fan speeds. No regrets getting this piece of kit.I would say that if you add a bit of essential oil it can actually help the aroma as well.

I bought this product to try and get my bedroom a bit colder before going to bed, so I turn this fan on with the ice cubs and water and left it working there for a couple of hours, door closed. When I got there, the room temperature was the same, not slightly colder..Next moved it to the living room, trying at least to have some fresh cold air.. if pointed towards you it works, but you need to put it in the highest speed which makes a louder noise..Summarizing, i deeply regret this choice. Not worth it.

This is a nice and easy little unit but it really doesn't provide more cooling than a normal fan. If you sit right next to it you can feel some cool air but next to the bed (which is what I purchased it for) I couldn't feel anything. I suspect it would be ok for warm climates but in the heat we are experiencing at the moment (30 degrees C at least) it is not suitable. It's very easy to use and nice and compact, plus the delivery was perfect but unfortunately I have had to return it.

This really helped with bedroom stuffiness. Loading the cold water in the tank and starts the fan which distributes a fresh air flow. With the adjustable fins you can also direct the jet. There are 3 speeds. A button switches on the vaporizer mode which gives the best at the lowest fan speed, so it cools better. Also on the bottom there are multicolor LEDs so through the appropriate button also acts as a lamp. A really good air cooler to refresh the summer if you don't have an air conditioner. It also has water end detection and carrying handle. Portable to any where you need.

I saw that this product had relatively good reviews and decided to purchase it for £36. You need to put water and ice into the cooler, and it supposedly blows cool air at you. The air was certainly not cool. You could put liquid nitrogen in this cooler and it will not affect your room temperature in the slightest. I saw a review which stated that the cooler is equivalent to having an asthmatic child blowing at you, and I fully agree. I have never been so disappointed in an Amazon product before. Thankfully, they have the best customer service on the planet and have processed my refund. Please avoid buying this product at all costs. Though you can return it, it's a hassle to have to drop the item off at a post office after repackaging and then waiting 14 days for a refund. In essence, you are paying £36 to have fancy lighting on your desk.
