I’ve been using this dog toothpaste for 2 years now on my two Yorkie Poos, and I’m honestly so impressed with the results! It was originally recommended by our vet, so I felt confident giving it a try, and it definitely lives up to the hype. Both of my pups actually enjoy the taste, which makes brushing their teeth so much easier. I’ve noticed such a big difference in their breath — it smells clean and fresh instead of that usual “dog breath” smell. We like the vanilla mint! What I really love is how well it’s helped with tartar buildup. Their teeth look so much whiter and healthier, and their gums look great too. Even friends and family have commented on how good their teeth look! I feel like I’m doing something really beneficial for their long-term dental health. I Can Get 2 Tubes Here For Less Than What My Veterinarian Was Going to Charge Me For ONE Tube!! I'm Not Going to Lie, It Was a CHALLENGE Getting My Dogs Used to Getting Their Teeth Brushed, But They All LOVE The Poultry Flavored Toothpaste, and After 2 Weeks of Consistently Brushing All of Their Teeth Every Evening, all of my Dogs Got Used to the Process and Now They Actually Get Excited When they see the toothbrush and Toothpaste come out of the cabinet and they will LITERALLY Line up for their turn! All of them LOVE the Flavor of this Toothpaste and all of their teeth are looking Alot cleaner and there's less tartar build up on them since Using this Toothpaste! My dogs get so EXCITED when it's time to brush their teeth every evening! I think that THEY think it's an after dinner Treat for them! I was very skeptical of this toothpaste for my dogs until my vet recommended it and gave me 2 samples. Its easy to use, my dogs love the taste and best of all, it really removes the plaques and tartar buildup . I will say the texture and consistency threw me off since i am normally use to white/blue toothpaste. Was not expecting it to be brown. Overall my dogs love it and it keeps their breath smelling good.

I have 5 pets. One of our pets just passed and he was our 6th one. I used this toothpaste on 3 cats and 3 dogs. They didn’t mind the taste at all. However, I noticed when I used this more than 5 times a week they would end up with diarrhea. The size is small. I did notice a difference in their breath and because they didn’t mind the taste it was easy to use when brushing their teeth. It’s good quality just be aware they might end up with diarrhea.

I've been using this on my dogs for the last 20+ years and none of the three of them have ever refused it. Let's face it, brushing teeth is not an activity that dogs generally embrace, but they tolerate it, and it's easy to get them to, letting them start, as puppies, lick a little out of the tube. This bright, white vanilla peppermint paste seems to be a big hit. The only downside to this container is that it gets kind of curmudgeonly when you get near the end. Its metal structure undoubtedly keeps the product fresh, but it gets very hard to manipulate near the end. I'm sure I've left a fair amount of unused product in there over the years because I couldn't get to it. Still, my dogs always seem a little happier with clean, vanilla, mint flavored mouths. And a good price, here on Amazon.

I honestly didn’t look at the flavor when I bought this until it arrived, and surprise, it was poultry flavor. Yum! Jokes aside, I almost returned it but decided to give it a try. Aside from vet dental cleanings, my 9 year old dog has never had her teeth brushed, so I figured the chicken flavor might make her think it’s a treat. It worked. She actually looks forward to it now. The smell isn’t the best, but it is definitely a great start to her dental care journey. After just 3 days of consistent brushing, her breath has already improved. I selfishly want to switch to the vanilla mint for my own sake, but I would rather keep her thinking it’s a treat. 10/10 recommend.

Since I have been using this on my dogs' teeth (at least two years), there is no tartar build-up. I brush their teeth every night before bed and they look forward to it. They apparently love the flavor and the vanilla mint is not offensive (I tried the chicken flavor for them previously and they liked that too, but I got sick of the smell. My dogs are 15 pounds and less -- I use an infant toothbrush as it's nice and small for their tiny mouths.

Great all I needed. I did my own research and my dogs teeth are whiter and more healthy. Plaque was removed. Yes you can attempt to see if your dog lets you brush his teeth and try to slowly train them to let you but after months of my dog saying no I bought some treats with grooves and put a bit of this toothpaste on it. Messy a bit in the tip due to the texture but it’s healthy, fresh, and easy to use. Effective and saved me $800 from a vet who said he needed a teeth cleaning. Next time I went to vet they asked if I was cheating on them and went to a different vet. This is all your doggies need just watch their teeth clean themselves but still have your vet verify. My dog now has his pearly whites back. Give your dog chew treats I used dentastix and put a thin small line of tooth paste in 1 or 2 of the grooves. 1 daily for a month and you’ll be amazed.
