I use this in a 2014 Grand Cherokee. I popped the cover off the front of the seat rail then had to cut a small part of the trim off. I slackened the mounting bolt and slid the mount under it then tightened it down. I wrapped the P clip around the mount near the top of the center console and screwed it in with the provided screw. The tablet sits above the gear shift. It wobbles a little, but it's easily good enough for what I want. Mounting and removing the tablet is simple. I have a thick case on it and it fits with a little to spare, across the short axis. When I have to use my company iPhone that fits too, though on the long axis. I have also used this with a Kenwood VHF radio head unit. I had to get a second one for my wife to use for her iPad too. No regrets.

I spend a lot of time in the mountains and back country of the southwest. I use a tablet for navigation and tracking my travels. The large screen makes it much easier to see fine details on maps and Google Earth images. This holder is perfect for the rough conditions I encounter. Installation was a snap. Only took 10 minutes total, including reading the instructions and selecting the right combo of holder legs for my LG tablet. The unit is well designed and well made. The rod inside the gooseneck is solid aluminum. Very solid. Some people may complain that it's difficult to bend to the correct position for their vehicle. That's a reason why the product doesn't vibrate much. The various options for installing it should accommodate any vehicle. I do suggest measuring the distance from the mounting point to where you want your tablet to be. I was going to order the 18" unit, but after checking where things would end up in my SUV I realized that 18" would be too short. The 22" unit was just right. The vendor got the item to me in 4 days with standard shipping, another plus! So I got a great product with great service at a fair price. It doesn't get any better!

My trusty iPad and phone holder broke a few days ago. The metal snapped at the base of the flexible neck so there is no reasonable solution for repair. I have had it for 5 years and the warranty is for two. Overall under moderate use, it performed fairly well. Sometimes I had to adjust the next because it had a tendency to flex at the bottom instead of where I wanted but that is to be expected. I didn't realize how much I rely on it until it was broken. It's also at a perfect height where I can use it and it's not above the window line so unless you are next to the vehicle you will not necessarily notice it, except maybe for the glow from the screen. I recently looked into a CD mounted holder for a larger size iPad and it was too high like I figured. It basically advertised to everyone around what was on your screen. Will look around and see if there is a better option but I will probably pick up another one as I have no desire to drive around without one.

These are great for the work trucks. Durability is good and you can find replacement parts if they break. With heavy use every day they last about 4-5 years and the phone holders last even longer, I haven’t had to replace one in the last 8 years so far

Should work great for any tablet. The arms slide, making it easy to position for power cables. Some complaints in other reviews are related to physics. The post will sway without being attached to your vehicle in additional places. Don't expect to go off roading and have it remain fixed in place. For standard road driving, it is fine as is. The install is very easy: loosen a bolt to the seat, slide this under the washer/bolt head, then retighten to spec (see repair manual for your vehicle for torque specs).

Works better than expected with my iPad Pro. Very sturdy. Took about 4 minutes to install. Great product. Update: After five months of daily use it completely snapped in half. Added a new photo of the broken mount. I reduced my 5 star rating down to 3. I kept it at 3 because it is possible this was my fault. I have kids and we move the passenger seat ( I used the seat bolt of the front passenger seat to mount ) frequently. On multiple occasions I noticed the seat was hitting the bottom part mount, just above the bolt I used to connect the mount - the exact spot at which it snapped. Even with the possibly of it being my fault, I still reduced my rating. Mostly due to the fact the arm appears very durable, I never considered that it would snap. I am still very impressed with the design of this car mount. I will probably purchase another and attach it to the driver seat. I rarely move it.

Had it installed for about 2 months now. Wondering why I didn’t buy it sooner! Truly does come in handy for long drives etc.

I have to deal with a work phone, a work tablet, and my personal phone. My truck is my office. Mounting the tablet has been extremely useful. I'm not pulling on cords or losing the tablet under other things on the passenger seat. In my 2020 Chevy Colorado the seat rail wasn't compatible with the normal way you install this mount, but I was easily able to use the provided adapter and install it on the passenger side of the center console. I bounce down country mountain roads all day, and I haven't had any issues with the mount losing its grip on the tablet. The mount arm does sway a bit with the hardest bounces, but that's due to the plastic on the side of my center console flexing. I don't think I'd have that issue if I'd been able to install the mount on my passenger seat rail. I've had this a few months now, and I'm still able to reposition the arm and trust that it will stay in the new position. There's been no loss of strength from frequent repositioning. I'm pretty pleased.

Gut und einfach zu montieren, habe bereits auch ein Surface darauf eingespannt gehabt! Hält einwandfrei, der Schwanenhals ist sehr stabil, genügend Schrauben in der Lieferung um die Montage auszuführen. Benötigt jedoch dann auch entsprechendes Werkzeug, wie Bohrer usw.

I haven't used this on corrugations yet, and we had to tweak it because my car's seat rails had to be different! However, it is on now and very sturdy without the GPS unit on. I look forward to trying it, but it looks very promising, and best thing is, I still have full view from the driver's seat and the sun is not going to impact the screen as much as a dash-mounted unit.
