Elveden Fresh British Potatoes - 1X25Kg

These potatoes are excellent. There were lots of large potatoes in the sack and they are really good quality. If you peel them, the first thing you notice is how fresh they are and also how solid they are. Not watery like some potatoes you buy. They also have a great taste. These are the best potatoes I have bought in a very long time. I will definitely be buying again. Great also to buy a sack as it saves a lot of shopping. Very pleased.

Good quality, used all of them

They are a good price. they are very clean. We use them for everything! Lovely mash, great chips and roasties. Oh and a lot of them are Big, great for baked potatos. We're I used to get A sack of Spuds, they always had dried muck on them so you had to wash them before peeling, there were a lot of damaged and STINKY ONES that if not removed made the rest go off, plus they were soft to start with. There was always big stones in the bottom! 🤬 I won't be buying from there again.

I bought these 4 may so nearly a month ago, about 3/4 of the way through. They are fantastic, really clean notncover3d in dust, unbelievable sizes, I have split into small, medium, large and massive! I bought a different suppliers Maris Piper and the big were still small really, these are unbelievable some are so big I really don't know when I will use them!! They make great chips, roast potatoes and boiled. I've always used Maris for chips and toasties but these work brilliantly in the air fryer. Cannot recommend enough, great value, quality and taste!!

Bought many sacks of these potatoes - always lovely and fresh, clean and have a good size range (from huge whoppers to smaller golf ball size). They have never come as sprouting and have lasted well over 3 months in a dark box. Smooth skinned and easy to peel. Cook well. Great for mash/chips/roasts/jackets. LATEST ORDER - MAY 2024 - THIS BATCH ARRIVED AND WHEN OPENED SMELLED AWFUL - THE PHOTO SAYS IT ALL - CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY CAME LIKE THIS (DIFFERENT PACKAGING MIGHT MEAN DIFFERENT SUPPLIER) AS PREVIOUSLY THEY HAVE BEEN LOVELY POTATOES!!!!!!!

Lovely fresh potatoes,

We were happy when the potatoes arrived within a few days. The potatoes on the top were a good size and good quality. However, we are less happy with the potatoes further down in the bag, which are like a different type altogether. I've added a photo of them. They've been worse further down the bag and now most of them are only fit for the compost.

Nice size and clean potatoes, however too many are green and need deep peeling, and in my second sack quite a few rotten in the centre and had to be thrown away. However will purchase again as it has been a tough year for farmers potato wise, and overall still good value.
