Must Have! Worth the Money
We've had this tablet for the past 3 years now, so it's been put thru the ringer with these rough kids lol. Display is still intact the speakers still work with no issues. It's been stepped on, launched across the room, accidentally dropped off our front porch that is 16ft up in the air(my fault trying to carry too much stuff), it's taken a very breif swim and still it runs like brand new. It definitely my first recommendation when parents want a started tablet.

The Durable Kid's Tablet
I bought this tablet for my grandson and I am so glad I bought this product. The speed is superb and not to mention the tablet quality. You could never ask for a more sturdy tablet for a child. I didnt get any glitches and the weigh is ok for a child to carry around. I give it 5 out of 5.

Make sure you save the case! Worth every penny.
Got this tablet in 2022 for 75ish dollars including protective case. Truly a great investment. My 3yo daughter played with it regularly and it kept her entertained for countless hours. The protective case that came with the tablet was also worth the extra few dollars. She dropped it, threw it, jumped and stood on it was just generally haphazard with it. It lasted a little over a year until one day she just so happened to drop it so perfect that it landed flush on the ground with a loud smacking sound. The screen cracked in a nearly perfect circle and honestly could have continued to be used. The crack didn't make any sharp edges or anything but we figured it came with a 2 year warranty so we might as well use it and get it replaced.Totally worth it, even if you end up having to pay for the warranty. After speaking with customer service I assumed it would just be repaired and then sent back, though the warranty says it would be replaced. It does seem as though it was replaced after all. The process was pretty easy. Just print out the lable, put it in a box, and drop it off at a UPS location. JUST MAKE SURE IF YOU DO A WARRENTY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR THAT YOU TAKE OFF THE CASE BEFORE YOU SEND IT IN. We forgot to take the case off and now we have to buy a new one. Which is fine only bc it was replaced free, and we got an amazing deal to begin with.As far as the actual usage goes its also worth it. I set it up so that she can't make any purchases, and it provides her with an endless array of games and activities to be entertained with for free. It also has an adult profile that is automatically set to your Amazon account for easy set up. When you turn on the device (at original purchase) it boots right up with your information already loaded. All you have to do is click through and it's ready to go. You just set up your child's profile, which is also an easy process. You can set it to limit the amount of time your child can use it, as well as a daily shut off which locks the device from the child at a certain time. It also automatically unlocks at a set time. I have ours set to lock from 10pm to 6am. It makes it so easy to let her know its time to get off and go to bed if she hasn't already gotten off for the night. There are separate options for weekdays and weekends in this regard. Probably the best thing is that you can lock the sound limit. I hate it when someone is listening to their device too loudly without headphones so this is my favorite feature. Just all around a fantastic and worthy investment for your child's entertainment and your sanity when you just want to have a little time to yourself.

Great but SO much content
I read lots of reviews on this before I bought it, so I had some idea of what it was going to be like. The purple color is great, just like daughter wanted. By the way, only reason 6 year old got this is because older sibling got a switch but we thought this would be more suited to her than something like that. And we were right. Rather than having to buy a bunch of expensive games that she may or may not be able to play very well yet, this provides her with lots of choices on her level. She can watch shows, play games, read books, listen to music, whatever she wants. It is easy to set up and you can put various protections or limits on it. There is an absolutely insane amount of content on it, it was overwhelming to me, even more so to a little kid. One of the biggest downfalls to me is that it's just a bunch of pictures/icons - no titles to anything. So I have to download things to see what they are. For example, there may be an icon of Elsa - but is it a game (and what kind?), or a book, or a puzzle, or what? That's annoying. And once something is downloaded, it seems to stay in the "recent" section forever. That is annoying because if I don't know what I'm downloading, if it's not something I want to play again I should have a way to take it out of that spot or uninstall it. I appreciate this part because I can see what my kid has been on and that they can't delete anything, but it would be a nice parent feature to add. Some reviews made it seem complicated to block unwanted content. To some degree, this is true. But there is a search feature where you can type in certain shows/characters/whatever and then you can manually block whatever content appears in the search, each one individually. This can be quite time consuming, and takes a while to look thru things and see what you want to block. I blocked a lot, mostly because there were just plain too many choices of things to do and I wanted to narrow things down for her. Overall we knew what we were getting into, and this has suited our purposes well. She also only uses it on weekends and under supervision and it is password protected so she has to have permission to get on it. It can also be exited out of kids mode (with a password) and used as a regular tablet. You can also install other apps or allow certain websites - I gave her access to disney+ because we already have a subscription to that as well.
