I hate it took me so long to try this!
Women, do yourself a favor and PURCHASE THIS CUP!I’ve known about menstrual cups for while now, but the idea of a cup sitting inside of me for 12 hrs, then the removal process was sickening to me. Tampons were becoming uncomfortable and pads were just a no no! So I opted for the menstrual discs... disaster! Didn’t work for me as I had leakage no matter how far I stuck that thing up there!Soooooo, I came upon the HoneyPot Co., read the reviews and there was one in particular that did it for me.... And I’m so glad I read it! I am SOLD! I will never purchase any other product! I guess bc I was used to being ‘personal’ with myself from using the discs, inserting the HPC wasn’t difficult for me the first time. I tried the c-fold... that didn’t work for me... I had SUCCESS with the punch down method and inserting it as I would a tampon. I could immediately tell that the cup was in position and it opened as it should. I expected leakage and there was ABSOLUTELY none!!!! (Used it overnight!). The removal was a little tricky, but once I figured out my technique it was easy! (you will definitely need to be secure with your body 😉) No spill, and honestly I thought I bled more than what I did!!! Simply poured out the contents, washed and reinserted! I love this product! I no longer dread my monthly visitor! I can insert this cup and forget it! I’m a severe cramper! I didn’t have a single cramp while using this product, which leads me to believe the cramps were from the tampons pressing against my cervix! I am a forever customer! Honey 👏🏾 Pot 👏🏾 Company.... check 👏🏾 them 👏🏾 out!!!!

Better than tampons
This was the first menstrual cup I have tried. I got the size two since I am thirty and had two children. Unfortunately, I have the increased flow that comes after childbearing, but my births wear c-sections not natural. I definitely needed the smaller size for that aspect but it is still wearable. It can be hard to remove so I wished the stem had a loop or something to help. Overall, I would purchase this again, just a size down.

Do not the let hype confuse you
I read several reviews and shared several videos that had me so fearful of using a menstrual cup. But I took a chance because I needed to do something different and this was the best thing. I wanted to ditch the pads and tampons and try something more “natural”. The cup is comfortable I have a regular and the large both from Honey Pot. Insertions are easy removal is easy. I suggest removing while in the shower makes the cleaning process easy and if you spill anything it’s easy clean up. Does work for 12 hours with no leakage if inserted correctly does come with instructions on care and folding techniques. I like to reinsert after shower while laying down I find that the easiest for me. If you have really heavy flow like I occasionally do then the 2/ larger size is great. You can have leakage if you just have an extremely heavy flow. I suggest you start wearing while you are at home just in case you don’t have it inserted correctly/securely. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask I will do all I can to answer them if I see them but I can’t sing enough praises for the menstrual cup.

Wrong Size Recommendation
I purchased the size 2 based on the recommendation (age, vaginal births, etc). This is my first menstrual cup so based on reviews and research I knew there would be a learning curve and it would take me time to master.Insertion and removal were painful, uncomfortable and challenging. At one point the cup shifted higher up than where I initially inserted (low) and it was difficult to reach. That scared me a little because I didn’t know if I would be able to get it out. However, eventually I got it out.I recommend inserting it in the shower or wetting prior to inserting and deep inhale. When removing, remove slowly to prevent spillage and squeeze slightly while removing to prevent painful removal.By my third cycle, no matter how many different folds I tried when inserting the cup, I experienced leaks. The cup never popped open after insertion. After doing more research I realized the cup is too big. The recommended size is inaccurate.I won’t give a negative review for this particular brand bc the product itself is a quality product. The recommended size is just inaccurate. I believe they should sell two different sizes in one package versus selling them separately so customers can determine which size works best for them.So be mindful when choosing your size.

Does not work-
I bought the smaller size and a local store but it didn’t hold enough. When I sized up and got this one I had the same issue. If I didn’t wear a pad or liner under it, I would have messed up my underwear. It does NOT last 12 hours.I had to empty it after an hour because it was leaking. There is no way it will hold for 12 like the company states.

Don't waste your time.
Buy a Saalt menstrual cup!!! The Honey Pot cup leaks so much. I have the right size. I've had to wear a panty liner it leaks so much. Do not buy this. Saalt doesn't leak at all. I will never buy another honey pot item.

GET 👏🏾 YOU 👏🏾 ONE 👏🏾SIS
I have be heistant for years about a menstrual cup. The whole concept just really grossed me out. Recently I have gotten tired of using and buying pads. Also I am I've taking adjustments in underwear and how I sleep due to wearing pads. I'm tired of spending money on pads and the whole concept. So I finally took the leap!! I also chose this brand because it was created and owned by a black woman. I use this last week and I'm sold!!!!! If you are hesisant about using one it's only weird the first 2 days or so trying to figure what is the best way for you to put it in and take it out. I'll say this if you have ever used the Nuvaring birth control it totally the same concept! I have never likes using tampons and only use then for very rare occasions but I'm sold on this cup. The only part I have not gotten down it taking it out. They say pinch it out but I just pulled for out. Ah well I'm sold and I'm throwing all these darn pads and tampons out!
