works great. use for my Samsung tablet to my tv and have been for 5 years now. I just recently found out that this is compatible with the DJI RC2 Smart controller and cast to a larger screen for flying the drone. DJI and all the "Drone Pro's) say you need to buy a special $30 adapter/converter to do this, guess what, YOU DO NOT!!! Buy this UNI and go, save money and save space. I will be ordering a couple more to use. speed is great, picture quality is amazing with no lag. Just wish this had a 90 degree USB port. Do not hesitate to purchase!!!!!

Bought this three years ago to show my phone on a monitor, and pulled it back out to connect a second monitor to my mac mini. Much better than the cheap dock I had that kept failing to show my monitor. Works fine for my FHD monitor mac mini connection.

This worked for exactly what I wanted it to do for my home office. Great for the price.

Just what you need to be aware of if you are the product I think it's a good product... In order to use your phone with the projector you need to use an HDMI adapter.. I do think that the instructions were confusing. But so far it's a pretty good item that and I most certainly don't regret you know ordering it. But if you plan on using your phone with the projector you need to be aware that you're going to need an HDMI adapter that can work with your phone

The description is misleading in that it does not work for all USB C ports. It only works for USB C ports that are thunderbird or a display port. If your C port can only be used for charging or data transfer, it will not work. They should tell you this in the description.
