Hicarer Quartz Pendulum Trigger Clock Movement Chime Westminster Melody Mechanism Clock Kit with 3 Pairs of Hands

It was easy to install but there was one thing I didn’t like and that was the chime. It was a very low sound plus i didn't think it had a good sound, so i turned the chime sound off. Other then that it looks nice in my walk clock and runs well.

Mom has a wall clock that uses this style of mechanism . When it gave up the ghost after 30-ish years, she was unhappy to say the least. Rather than toss the whole thing, i picked up this kit and replaced the guts. Well, most of the guts, the chime in this one isn't the best, and the old one had sentimental value. Luckily, the chime is it's own box, with the wire to the clock just going to a switch, no polarity to worry about. Assembly is easy, and the hands come in a choice of "Classic" or"Modern" styles. If you're like me, and needed to retrofit into a clock with a small-ish face, the modern ones are simple enough to trim the hands with a pair of shears to shrink the length without looking funny. A good option if you need a quartz movement with both a pendulum and a chime.

It seems to keep good job But the charm sounds pretty bad The pendulum swinging back-and-forth. Sounds like it's ticking like a old-fashioned clock. I give it 4 out of 5 star. S if the charm sounded better.

Got what you paid for, I bought these for my 7 yrs old but disappointed that the sound was so weak like the battery is almost dead and no time counts.. my son was bored and threw it aside.

Instructions enclosed and instructions on Amazon are different and confusing. Can't get clock to chime. Bad communications. The only reason I gave one star is because the clock works. I specifically bought it for the chime feature.

Hasn't gained or lost a single second in almost a month. Assembly is very easy except placing the 3 hands on the shafts. You must be able to place/feel the horizontal plane of the mount circle of all 3 hands, particularly the second hand, perfectly perpendicular to the clock shaft and gently push StraiGHt. The clock body I mounted the unit in way to long for the kit supplied 6" pendulum. Fortunately the 12" that came with the thrift store clock with the old inaccurate c battery sucking fast movement used the same hook mount. The pendulum period is about 1.2 seconds, but this not affect accuracy, you'll see why upon seeing the clelver pendulum design on this unit. 5stars. But like said careful careful careful mounting the hands

Since I needed to re-use the hr/min hands that were already on the clock (face was too small for the new hands), I did not have to use any of the 3 sets of hands! I also reused the original pendulum; although it was great to have all of those options! Installation was very easy. I elected to not use the chime, but another nice option. It's been about 3 weeks and the time is still accurate-best I could hope for! I can scratch "clock fixing " off of the bucket list now, lol!

Clock is good tone is really bad I have to but it in the trash
