Clarity and power!
Punchy bass! Great, clear audio! Volume is excellent and controlled via the right speaker or a handy remote. I would definitely buy these again! They fit perfectly in my record table cabinets which are not very large and look beautiful. Super easy to use and setup!

Really solid speakers, love their sound
Love the sound with these speakers. Can't really beat it at this price point, in my opinion. Easy to set up, multiple inputs, small footprint, it's everything I was hoping it would be. I currently have both an Alexa and a record player plugged into the speakers.

Amazing Speakers for the Price!
Amazing Speakers for the Price! I honestly didn’t expect these to be this good. The Edifier R1280T look really nice in person — the wood finish and overall design make them look way more expensive than they actually are. They fit perfectly on my desk and give off that clean, modern vibe without taking up too much space. Sound-wise? Crazy good. The audio is super clear, the bass hits just right without drowning everything out, and the highs stay crisp even when I turn them up louder than I probably should. I’ve never owned speakers at this price point that sound this balanced. For how cheap they are, the quality feels unreal. They don’t feel “budget” at all — from the build, to the sound, to the little remote that comes with them. If you want great-looking speakers with amazing sound without spending a ton, these are 100% worth it. I don't think there is bluetooth or anything. But the Lifespan seems really good and again.. The Functionality is there!

Awesome Sound for $100
I am by no means an audiophile but I also didn't want cheapo junk speakers and I also wouldn't benefit from anything more expensive. I did alot of research and had a thread going on overclock dotnet. I gave myself a budget of $100 as I wanted better quality sound then cheap PC speakers and felt anything more than $100 for me and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway. Originally I was looking at getting these Mackie CR3's: Mackie CR3, 3" Creative Reference Multimedia Monitors They have very good reviews, arent super large and appear to be high quality. While a minor thing, and not even close to the reason I chose the 1280T's, but I wasn't a fan of the green theme of the CR'3. My system is read and black themed, desk is dark brown wood grain, and most else is black. Someone in the forums I mentioned brought up these Edifier 1280T's and I had never heard of them before. They also had relatively few reviews here. The reviews they did have though were good, specifically from the other 2 customers who mention the CR3's as well. Not being real into audio I figured if people vouch for the sound quality of both then I should consider all other factors. The 1280T's are larger (4" vs 3") which depending on the space you have could be a plus or minus. For me I had enough room and figured if I could get bigger speakers for the same price I should consider it. Also the 1280T's have the controls on the side which I like, a elegant aesthetic to them that I think would fit in with more than the green of the CR3's, and they include a simple but useful remote. The 1280T's also have AUX RCA which I liked. The CR3's do have the ability to switch Right/Left however. I also like the front cover of the 1280T's. I just got the 1280T's setup and the quality was noticeable as I was taking them out of the box. They have that weight all quality electronics have to them. Everything was packed reasonably well and 0 damage to any items in the box. Got them hooked up in a minute or 2 to my PC and was blown away at the sound quality, even at lower volumes. One of my problems prior with a cheap bullet speaker was that dialog was hard to hear. Not with these the vocals/dialog do not get muddled by the bass or mids. Not being an audiophile the best I can do to describe the sound is to say its much more lifelike than any other speakers I have in my house or have heard when I'm out shopping. It sounds natural, not like I am listening to speakers. I am also hearing instruments and sounds that I did not before in various songs/media. I would 100% recommend these to anyone with the same budget and needs as me. It was also recommended to me that I get a better cable than what comes with the speakers. This is the cable I got and while generally the cable doesnt matter to me the quality of this cable also impressed me. Mediabridge 3.5mm Male to 2-Male RCA Adapter (12 Feet) - Step Down Design - (Part# MPC-35-2XRCA-12 ) I dont think you can go wrong with these. For what its worth Im sure the CR3's are not bad either, they may even be better in some ways, but I am very satisfied with the 1280T's.

More than adequate for hopping up your TV sound.. if it has RCA or 1/8" earphone plugs
Nice little speakers. Sound is not extremely crisp.. just slightly muddy. SLIGHTLY....they are adequate for a TV and a milion times better than the TV speakers. They do not compare to my Logitec THX speakers, but also are much cheaper. Would I buy again. Yup for the right Job ... to make a television sound acceptable. THEY ARE NOT MONITOR QUALITY, but I'm picky. Is there something better for the price... probably not. Buy em... great for a TV a kids room, Better than many sound bars

The Edifier R1280T speakers have been a fantastic addition to my setup. These bookshelf speakers deliver rich, clear sound with impressive depth for their price range. The 4-inch bass driver and 13mm silk dome tweeter provide a well-balanced audio experience that works perfectly for both music and movies. The sound is detailed without being overwhelming, offering a warm, natural tone that fills the room. One of the standout features is the adjustable tone control on the side panel, allowing me to fine-tune the bass and treble to my preference. The remote control is also a convenient feature, making it easy to adjust volume or switch input sources without getting up. The build quality is solid, with a classic wood finish that looks stylish and professional in any setting. The speakers are compact enough to fit on my desk but still produce excellent sound quality for a variety of content. For the price, the Edifier R1280T speakers are an excellent value, offering clear, balanced sound and flexibility in a beautiful design. They’re ideal for anyone looking for high-quality desktop speakers without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

Just received the set of Edifier 1280T and am glad I ordered them. The sound is very good, but I am waiting for the real "kick-in" which all speakers have to go thru. With work and all, I haven't had a chance to break them in properly yet, but as already stated, even new "out of the box" they sound great. I saw people complain about the remote, likely because of its size, but it's fine and does the job superbly. Comes with battery already included. People talked about losing it (or "predicting" they would lose it), but what would you say about a diamond ring you may not wear all the time? lol -- of course, you put it in a safe place where you can remember where it is. It's that simple! And what more do you need on a remote for speakers besides volume up, down or pause? Everyone is different in how they like their music, many love the bass; others an even blend. Whatever your preference is, it's simply a matter of working with the knobs on the side of the active speaker (treble; bass) and leave it there. Chances are that will be appropriate for all your music, but if not, hey, it's just an adjustment away. I like the wood grain look; goes nicely with my wood desk...look sharp. I have only had Logitech speakers before this and they were just fine, but I am keenly enjoying the quality of the Edifiers. Some folks are very fussy and have high demands (guess that's their preogative, of course), but I am grateful to even be able to have such things (which would be considered luxuries by some people and actually, they are). Admittedly, I do not know about sound recording or mixing music if that is a person's job or hobby, so it is worth reading the reviews of those who have some expertise in the area, that's for sure! But if you are a regular person such as myself and desire external speakers for music, online stuff or TV, and are on a fixed budget or saving to spend your $$$ elsewhere, then these are a worthwhile and safe investment. They get the job done! I would like to add a PS and give a thumbs up, high five and all that good stuff to the seller. The speakers were packaged solidly so that there was no damage. They came exactly as advertised. The seller was quick with the order and in sending it on for delivery, which arrived in two days after placing the order. The seller also did a follow-up, to see if I had any questions and/or complaints. Very efficient seller, worth the five stars! Thank you very much-- greatly appreciated by this consumer. :)

Absolutely fantastic speakers!!! Like other reviewers wrote, I can’t believe the audio quality through these small and inexpensive beauties, I’m in audio heaven! Also delivery was faster than expected and via a good courier. I’d only like to mention the speakers I received are clearly US/Canada and my bf had to rush to the shop to get a plug converter as they have a USA plug, but it was a very minor inconvenience :) online warranty registration went smoothly too
