Well, this controls my TV perfectly. BUT, it doesn't seem to be programmable to control Cable box etc. At least I can set sleep mode, volume and power. Unfortunate, since the description says 'universal', my mistake in thinking it would control more than the TV....unless I am missing something.

We made sure our tv was on the list and seriously we just took it out put batteries in and it worked with no setup or anything!! It is fantastic and saved us from having to get a new tv when the remote somehow got lost in the move. Without a remote we could not change the input which cut off a lot of options. This remote fixed it all, very happy!

But I was very mistaken, works like a charm. Only thing is some buttons don't seem to work, and some are labelled with the default of "text", but not really a huge problem. The main buttons I need are working and that's all I need to be frank. Recommend as a replacement remote for Hannspro TVs.

Worked on my Hanspree TV immediately. No codes to lookup on a paper with over a hundred others, a frustrating and time consuming effort. An absolute joy to own. On off button in much easier to use, Best purchase I've made in a long time since it's in use every day.
