Buy these if you’re looking for good speakers without breaking the bank!
I installed these speakers into the rear doors of a 2016 Subaru Impreza Limited using a mount/ wire adapter set I also found on Amazon. I bought the car three months ago and always thought the rear speakers did not sound that powerful. Lo and behold, I found that one of the factory speakers had a blown voice coil .Lo and behold, I found that one of the factory speakers had a blown voice coil and had no sound. These JVC speakers have a good mid range base along with really good highs. The factory amplifier powers these speakers very well and the sound is quite good with very little distortion at high volume. For 30 bucks, you cannot beat these speakers. I highly recommend them as a low budget, good quality replacement for the factory speakers in your car.

Good speakers
Let's be honest, you and I did not come here for a set of high-end speakers. These speakers are budget friendly and get the job done. $22 for a pair of 6.5" speakers is a steal in today's audio marketplace. Replacing blown or buzzing OEM speakers with an economical set makes perfect sense. The speakers are clear and crisp, but not much bass. In my opinion, they play plenty loud enough without distortion. Have realistic expectations on your factory sound system, and you won't be disappointed. Replacing the front door speakers on my 2005 Silverado with the 6.5" units was a snap. I drilled 7/64" pilot holes and used the supplied screws to install the new speakers. Works perfectly. It's nice to listen to the radio again.

Good speakers, mouting and wiring included but may need to get after market for easy of install.
Good replacement speakers, clear and loud, easy to install. Would recommend good value. Fit and quality is good, Nice looking covers, but wasn't able to use due to door factory limits. Not an issue with speaker or fit.

The beast
I bought these horns for my car for a recommendation made by a friend and believe that I have no regrets, this one sounds better than the ones my car brings. 100%

Good
For $25, it's hard to go wrong if you have absolutely horrific speakers in your vehicle. I put these in the rear doors of a 2007 Honda Fit because the stock speakers sound like they are laying in mud. However, in this particular car I also have a nice set of components in the front doors which means the rear doors are almost pointless. I do notice the difference from the stock speakers I had in the back though. These are clearer and dont sound muffled. The highs are more noticeable. Mids sound better, lows are basically non-existent. The sound out of these is pretty good for a speaker of this spec and price. I dont think I would run these as the main speakers in my car but if you've got an older car that just needs a small upgrade or your old factory speakers are blown, these are solid for the money. Don't forget to check if you need any sort of adapter or wire harness. I did for my car.

20 Dollar speakers
These are twenty dollar speakers. They sound like twenty dollar speakers. I bought the speakers to repair blown front speakers (really just one was blown) in my Kia Sedona. In hindsight, the install was so cumbersome (which I expected) that I wish I had spent more for better speakers. But as I mentioned previously, it's a KIA SEDONA - the twenty dollar speakers have potentially doubled the value of the vehicle. Here is a walk through of my install (regardless of your vehicle, your install won't be all that different). Pop off door panel, find factory speaker is built into an enclosure which I must chop up, pulling the cone of the speaker out, then chopping the rear supports to the magnet with a hacksaw blade. Put new speaker in modified enclosure/bracket, drill holes in speaker surround and through to enclosure (screws included!) Flip it over and solder the tabs to the wired embedded in the enclosure to avoid chopping factory wiring. That worked surprisingly well and the polarity even lined up right. You could leave the old wires to the coil, use the included wires with push on terminals and simply twist the wires together... Regardless, installing this sort of thing is.. cumbersome...It's simple, but not easy... It's hard to get the electrical connector clips to release when you're holding a door panel, it's hard not to break old connectagazoink fasteners and cheap dried up plastics... In the end, the speakers are as good (maybe slightly better) than the OEM speakers were when new. But that is the thing, for all the work, buy some nicer speakers. You'll spend over an hour doing this (closer to two hours) even if you aren't especially careful (with your high-mileage van -or similar turdbox). I don't have a disgustingly bad rattle-ey speaker anymore. And that's great. But am I thumpin'? Hell no.. They are twenty dollar speakers.
