Bought this to keep track on measurements while losing weight. Its perfect becasue you can sync it to your phone and it will track it for you. I bought the Renpho smart scale as well and they work beautifully together. It was inexpensive and easy to use. You do not have to download the free app, but it's exciting to see the graph drop during your journey.

Great to for taking and tracking your measurements. The app is valuable, easy to use, and really cool. Great to log losses or gains.

Super easy to use, especially if you have to measure yourself. Example turn on, pull the tape around body part, tuck the end of tape ( not attached to device) back into slot of device, click button to tighten and your measurement shows accurately on device.

I’ve been losing weight and wanted to be able to track inches lost in addition to pounds lost. This tape measure is so much easier to use than trying to use an analog tape. An added side benefit is that it’s made it much easier to buy my clothes on Amazon in the right size because I always have my measurements available In the app!To use, simply pull the tape around the part you’re trying to measure and insert the end back into the body of the device. Press a button to auto-tighten the tape around that body part, then click to measure. The measurement will auto-populate the body part you’ve selected in the app. The app will record your changes over time so you can see your progress. It also allows you to add body parts. For example, chest is pre-defined but bust is not. I was able to easily add “bust” and now it is always there for me.This was a good value - if nothing else it has saved me time and money not having to make returns on clothes that don’t fit me!

Love this. Easy to use and works well with app

I have the smart scale and love it. I’m not nearly as impressed with the tape measure. It takes some jiggling and jamming to get the end connected to the unit. Once you get it to stay looped you have to keep positioning it while you tighten it. Tightening should be a smooth retracting, but I’m finding I almost have to feed it back in.I had some trouble getting the measurements assigned to the right body part, but I think that is probably a learning curve.For the cost, I don’t feel I made a great purchase. It doesn’t make measuring by myself any easier, but I do like the tracking features of the app.Because I had to manually enter the numbers anyway, I’d rate the free app much higher than the tape measure .

I love this! It easily connects to an app and records all of my body measurements. I am currently on a weight loss journey and this is a very helpful tool.There was a bit of a learning curve at first. It looks like the device shut itself off after only less than a minute of being turned on. But that only happens when it’s not an actual use. When I have been using it to measure everything from my neck down to my calves, which takes about 10 minutes, It never shut off and it recorded everything with great accuracy.I love how this device compiles a history of your measurements said that you can easily compare measurements to current ones and see your progress.The tape wraps around the body part and locks into a little hole and it stays there with a magnet. You need to pop it out gently each time you measure a different part.The numbers are a little difficult to read on the device, because I felt like the face of the device was often turned away from me, and it was a little difficult to flip it over to read the numbers, until I realized the numbers also show up directly on the app during the measurement. So you can just look at the numbers on the app. You don’t need to look at the numbers on the device while you are taking the measurements. Although, I still tended to do this because I wanted to make sure both numbers matched. They did!I think it’s a great value. I highly recommend it.
