The L Word Complete Series

The L Word is one of my all-time favorite shows!!! Up until now, I've been able to enjoy it on Netflix; however, as you may know, it is no longer available on Netflix. So I decided to purchase the series through Amazon. Similar to other reviewers, there were small broken pieces of plastic inside of the case when I opened it, but honestly I can't even tell where they broke off from and it does not diminish the quality of the packaging or case in my opinion (and I'm pretty particular). All of the discs were in the case. I also played/skimmed through each disc to see if they work properly and they do. One thing I did notice when starting the first disc at least, is that the music is different from what was aired on Netflix. The opening scene of the season 1 episode 1 is different. As I skipped through the rest of the discs, it seems most songs are the same. So it'll be interesting to see if any other songs are different. Other than that, the quality of the packaging is great, the discs are in great shape, the quality of the episodes are great, and I am thrilled to be able to finally have this as part of my DVD collection!

I've been rewatching the show with my gf on Netflix...where I learned the songs used in many pivotal scenes are completely different. The songs make the show! Playing the wrong one can completely alter the mood of a scene! I felt cheated, and had to get the DVDs with the right music. Also, this set came with 24 discs! All of which were accounted for. I'm really looking forward to the special features included!

I am now watching the L Word for the second time. I love this show. I am a married woman and straight, but it is about time that someone did a show about these wonderful woman who happen to love women. I am married 52 years and never had sex with a woman. Sorry I never saw this show when it was on TV. The cast is great and I would have love to know how it ended. What happened to Jenny?

This was a gift for someone, and she was thrilled to finally get it. It took nearly a month to ship for some reason, as if it went into production after I ordered. But we finally got it, and she’s happy. So I’m happy.

All discs were inside package when it arrived. I have watched the entire series, and I never had a problem with any of the discs. They read perfectly with no scratches at all! Picture quality is perfect! Outer packaging is a little flimsy, but I'm otherwise very happy with this purchase! I have nothing to complain about!

Ive loved this series since Showtime aired it. ..and finally I have it! 5 big stars on the series and on this specific collection. I only paid 40.00 when else where would be much more. And the shipment was pretty quick is a plus! I definitely recommend to those that want the series, to purchase this series from this buyer! Would love to do business again!

I love this complete-set, all the more when each disc only has 4 episodes, well, mostly - some even have 3 only! I wish it comes with subtitles but it is not a big problem and all in all, I'm just satisfied enough that I can finally watch this show from its very beginning to its mysterious ending - I can't wait for the new season!

Estaba buscando la serie desde hace tiempo y aquí la encontré completa. Viene el audio en inglés y español pero no tiene subtítulos. Vale totalmente la pena, la recomiendo.

I love the show. The DVDs come in a nice box. The only thing i must say is that there are no subtitles, not even in English and that should be described on the add of the product. Otherwise it was a fast and good buy.

Im so happy you had this set. I love this show. Everything works. Packaging was amazing. CDs are organized properly. I have no complaints.

Wont play on my xbox dvd player. I am not impressed has i bought this for a birthday present
