Flame King YSN10 White RV Horizontal ASME LP Propane Tank (10 Gallon)

The bad reviews on this item are comical, have you people done any research into other brands of similar LP tanks and what they cost? There is this old saying that nobody seems to remember anymore that goes something like, "you get what you pay for." For the price this tank cannot be beat, simple as that. I have bought and installed easily a dozen of these things though I prefer the larger counterpart that is never in stock. For a cost efficient solution to a under mount LP tank this is it. Yea you might have to invent some better brackets, yea you might have to replace a knob (a couple bucks at the hard ware store), but at 50% of the cost of Manchester or other brands....quit whining! =)Quick delivery on prime, great product, will buy again! And again, and again, and again, or until they start stocking the bigger one!

Received item with some damage. The cast iron valve handle was broke. The item I received was not as pictured, the attachment location do not match the picture. There is no guard piece to protect the valve and guage as shown in the picture.

I'm only giving this 3/5 stars because the shipping boxes were so bad. The tank works great but I got it with damage to the valve. They should have put more protective padding around the tank valve. It still seems to work ok but I will need to put a new valve on it. I don't want to deal with paying to ship back and get another one. The tank does not include any mounting hardware so you will need to provide that yourself.

This tank is a great value.I agree with some of the other reviewers,The little zinc handle broke off on my tank too.{The guy at the propane place were I had it purged gave me a new one} A better idea for shipping this might be to tape the zinc handle on the side of the tank,and put a cardboard tube over the valve.When it arrived,it had a couple very small rubs on the side,where it slid around in the beat up cardboard shipping box. Hey I'm gonna bolt it to the bottom of my van.in two weeks,It's gonna be covered with mud and road goo,so I'm not worried about a couple of rubs. Look around,see what these tanks usually sell for.I Did,and I think this tank is a great deal.Very strong brackets,thick paint ,quality valves.

The tank worked for my RV, I only had to remake brackets due to my RV having different mounting holes. Just had it filled today and all,is great!!!!

I contacted [email protected]. They sent me the correct picture of the product the next day. A dimensional spec. sheet would have been nice. I do not know why Amazon or the seller doesn't update it. I attached the picture.I bought the damaged one mentioned for an extremely good price. Replaced the valve handle and touched up a paint scratch.I am a mechanical engineer who works for a metal product manufacturer. This product appears well made.The old packaging was beat to hell so they re-boxed it.I am pleased with the purchase.

This is the second propane tank that arrived with a sheared valve knob. I returned the first one due to the same problem. The replacement is worse. Besides the valve knob that is sheared, there are a number of scratches and dents.
