This kit has everything you need for improving the water into your RV. The outer shell is sturdy and capable of handling typical pressure without leaking. Special thread tape (not Teflon, this stuff is sticky) is included to attach the metal fittings for the water “in” and “out” hardware. Do look at the instructions for this part because you will want to get the carry handle installed right.Installation following assembly was simple. I only needed to add a short section of hose to go from the spigot to the filter. Feeding the water to the RV was as normal from there. There is a definite improvement in the taste of the water in the RV now. Fantastic and simple addition to the RV. Highly recommended!

Great filter for RVers. I've used it for over 1 year. This one provides excellent water pressure. It's compact and durable. It filters great. I noticed a substantial decrease in chlorine smell after installing this filter.

We have been using this filter in our RV continuously for over a month It is a huge improvement over the typical small blue filters that need to be replaced every few months and can negatively impact water pressure. I am also pleased to report that we have not experienced any of those pesky leaks with the connections. But by far, the most outstanding feature has been the better taste of our water. This filter appears to be doing an outstanding job in removing unwanted contaminants. In the past with the box store filters, we would continue to buy bottled water for our coffee and cooking. Since installing this filter we now drink straight from the tap with no taste difference. I highly recommend this product.

I have used this filter for a month now and wanted to see how the filter was doing. Since setting it up, it has consistently leaked at one of the fittings. We did use the nylon tape provided as well and still leaking. For the life of me, neither myself nor my husband can remove the lid to get to the filter our either. We would love to give this 5 stars, it filters all bad taste out and seems to work great but when you can’t even open the housing… ugh.
