I truly am loving my lapboard and have been getting a lot of use out of it. However, the only gripe that I had was with regard to the mouse pad and my mouse sliding off constantly. I ended up finding what are called “clear self adhesive bumpers” that are 1/2“ x 1“. I found a brand on Amazon called Everbilt that makes them (to be clear, I have never heard of them before I started looking up something that fit this description with the idea in my head, and this is just what I found that worked. Any other brand that makes the same thing I’m sure is fine!). They were incredibly cheap, less than $5.00. This solved the problem completely. I took a picture to show what I’m talking about. It may not be the most elegant solution, but it works, and I now have no complaints about the board whatsoever! The board is comfortable and is useful for carrying my laptop and accessories to and from my room to the living room where I enjoy spending time watching TV with my dad while using my computer. The vents prevent the computer from getting too hot, which is excellent, and my phone fits perfectly in the notch above the mouse pad.

Highly recommend and as described. I use a 17 inch computer so it does hang off the side about 1.5" but I expected that. I use the phone spot for my pen because my phone case is too thick. Venting is perfect, cushions are great and a solid built item. Really does work wherever you are sitting. Not really heavy at all. Simple and works for me.

Working from home, I’ve had to figure out how to convert parts of my living room and occasionally dining table to a makeshift office. I chose this laptop lap pad over others because it conveniently folds in half and I need to be able to store it away. When the item arrived, I was pleasantly surprised how small the box was. This laptop pad is exactly what I needed. It provides cushioning against my legs when I’m not using a desk or table and my laptop fits nicely, leaving me with easy access to the mousepad. The pad is light in weight. Not sure if it will show wear quickly. Will have to give it time to see how it holds up. The two slots are a bit shallow, perfect for a pen and paperclips. Glad this foldable version is available!Update: There’s a slight trade off with this foldable version. The center slightly sags along the crease. Not a deal breaker but it might bother others.

love the bamboo, this is very well made and attractive but i have 2 gripesMaybe if the mouse pad was moved more to the right side as well as the cell phone holder, this would give more space on the left and allow me to position the desk in the middle of my lap. The bar that keeps the laptop from sliding could be moved a little closer to the front for more comfort when typing. Overall this is a very nice solid buy.

I have been using this for a few months and really like it. I have had lap desks like this before, but it can be a pain to store because they are large and bulky. The ability to fold this up and tuck it away or pack in my suitcase is really nice. The foldable seem does not impact function. Love it!

Only issue is phones are too thick to fit into the slot provided

Perfect for at home use. Comfortable on my lap, fits my laptop and has a mouse friendly area to use. Light weight, fold down to an easily storable size and is easy to transport anywhere.

I really like this new lap desk. My only complaint is that the phone holder does not work well if you have your phone in a case. It could be easily fixed to provide a solution to this problem, in fact, I am planning on modifying mine by rounding and sanding the top of the support block for the phone holder. The problem is that for phones in cases, the rear phone support sits too close and too high causing the phone to stand directly upright and fall forward towards the user. Otherwise, GREAT PRODUCT, that I can easily modify myself.
