Tight fitting
These are nice, tight fitting dowels, good for dry joining as well as glue. Not a loose one in the box.

These 1/2 inch dowels are only 1 1/2 inch long
I assumed that these were 2 inches long

falls apart
I bought a small box of these for a project in which I drilled 1/2" holes in and when I applied glue and tried inserting them, they literally started to split and crumble. I threw the rest away as was able to get 6 out of the box that did not fail in this manner. My mistake as I should have searched for hardwood dowels and these were not hardwood. that being said I would not recommend for any project as they will break easily. And the bad part is that they state they are hardwood. Will only use oak in the future
